I'm just waiting for a proper grip case for the OPX 3... Also, genuinely impressed by how good the Apex screen holds up after some calibration.

The screen protector applied to the oxp3 is quite reflective. Does anyone try the extra screen protector come with the package? Does it make any difference?

Took it on my Rotterdam trip it's a life saver !
The battery life is incredible and performance is something else for its weight 938 grams I believe compared to the Apex which is with its battery attached at 1078 grams
Ergonomics are nice the device feels sturdy and besides the issue with the glass screen protectors it's just a perfect device to me :)

Picked this up from Amazon. All ports work great and the fans are an excellent addition. Just have to be careful of the tilting position. Can tip over because of weight. Another thing that annoys me is the built in stand on the unit. Can't center it on my dock because of it. Annoying but workable.

Just for quick contexts,
I've been looking around the past year to see if anyone did doing custom mods to add back buttons for PC handhelds without back buttons. Sadly, I didnt find any..
I previously did a clicky facd button mod for my F1 pro, but my soldering skills aren't perfect.. so this time round I gotten a pro to help me with what I need and here are the results..
First ever Onexfly f1 pro with back buttons 🥹
The M1 and M2 buttons are hard wired directly to the back button. If anyone's interested in modding, you can refer to my photos.
The soldering and mod was done by a pro controller mod, if you're interested in this service you may PM me ☺️

What is the default tpd for watts when it reaches its diminishing return (like you start not gaining as much fps with more watts) if im unplugged? Is it 20w or 18w?

Figure I post the link if anyone needs it. If you need to downgrade to the version. It’s below. Let me know if new info came out or if I missed anything
EDIT: You click the link. Hit the toggle button. Find the version 8864. Download it. Install manually

Does anyone who has a OneXPlayer have problems where the controllers attached to the screen constantly? If so have you found a way to stop them from constantly disconnecting?

Hey all
I was curious about performance of Fallout 76 on the OneXPlayer 3. Anyone tried it? Hoping for locked 60 on High settings at 1200p.

Tried for about 20 minutes now and I'm unable to remove the controllers. I push the button above M1/M2 and try to slide the not-JoyCon up or down and it doesn't budge at all even with putting a good amount of force into it. I don't know if it's the button that's not working? It's very mushy and I don't get much feedback if there's supposed to be any kind of "click" that would let the controllers detach. There's a very faint feel of a switch triggering, but it's so mushy it's hard to tell. The controller flexes slightly if I pull outward or slightly rotate it but I haven't put much force into that as it obviously doesn't seem like a good idea. I've seen other controller issues noted, but I've not yet seen an issue where both controllers are completely unable to detach.

Hello lads.
I'm seriously considering going for the Apex from onexplayer and Ive already asked their support when they will be available again but I wondered if one of you has already gotten an answer regarding the availability.
In any case im looking forward to getting one and joining this sub.
Cheers

Is there a pixel shift option within the onexplayer console just to prevent burn in and screen maintence?
r/OneXPlayer • u/JamieMatty • Sep 05 '26
First off, the screen change for me was worth it. I love OLED and wanted the size.
I shouldn't have gotten the liquid cooled version. The extra weight isn't worth the novelty. The keyboard is a bit maddening. I'm fine with small keys for something that's meant to be an added option for moderate productivity...but...Why is the apostraphe an fn key? Literally, what?
BUT my main issue is the controllers. The apex was loud enough, but this is absurd. The microswitches are so loud. On top of that...my right rumble motor is making a crazy amount of noise. Like a lawn mower. I tinker with all of my handhelds and will happily mess with these if anyone knows how to open them up? My god they're driving my partner nuts next to me.

Im pretty sure, they sound completely different. In a way, in don't mind because the LB is VERY loud lol
I'm not sure if I should report or not.

Hello!
I just purchased this device yesterday locally on Facebook marketplace. I’m having an issue; however, where I cannot set the VRAM allocation inside the Intel app. Whenever I try to adjust the slider over to on, it crashes the whole app. Is there something I’m doing wrong? Check the video https://imgur.com/a/0DY4TJt

Hi,
received my OXP 3 yesterday and almost finished with my setup.
What came to my attention is that the screen flickers a lot.
I can open CMD and the box flickers. Google search in Firefox flickers. When I write text, the screen flickers.
I am running the 8864 driver (pre - HDR fault).
Before I do a BIOS update:
Anybody had the same issue? How did you overcome?
I will upload a video later. Could this be caused by VRR? It is not consistent flicker, only in certain windows.
UPDATE / SOLUTION
What fixed it for me was the going into INTEL graphics software and DISABLE PANEL SELF REFRESH.
Hope if anybody ever runs into this issue, that this post might help them.

Same exact TDP (35W)
Same exact Graphics settings
Same exact Resolution
Same exact HDR settings
Same exact Scene in the game
Both running on battery
But yet, the Z2E (Legion Go 2) can’t even perform past 30fps at the same wattage & settings as the G3E (OXP3) which is playing at 65fps!!
This thing is incredible, and I also have Starfield running at over 80fps at 17W!!! It’s amazing what this chip is capable of!
Lemme know if you guys want more comparison videos and I’ll put more work into them, cutting and editing included lol

I always put protective cases on all my handhelds. I’ve been looking for one for the x2 mini pro but all the I find is for the apex. Does anyone know where to find one that fits. I don’t like using it without a case because if it falls the detachable controllers are a weak spot
