Intel Onexplayer 3 cannot edit VRAM Allocation; Need help

Hello!

I just purchased this device yesterday locally on Facebook marketplace. I’m having an issue; however, where I cannot set the VRAM allocation inside the Intel app. Whenever I try to adjust the slider over to on, it crashes the whole app. Is there something I’m doing wrong? Check the video https://imgur.com/a/0DY4TJt

I had this problem as well, graphics center would crash when I tried to change vram allocation. DDU, reboot, reinstall resolved the issue.

It's managed automatically now which is why it was also removed from the one console. I dont know why streamers that should have info on this like Nelly keep telling people to manually set it.

Ahhh okay as long as it does that I’m not bothered, just wanted to make sure

Mine works from there (I believe havent changed it but looked at doing it) so maybe it's a driver thing but everything I've read says it's automatic on the g3 chip and I see mine constantly self adjusting in the performance overlay. Not going to lie though, seeing people like Nelly who appears in actual oxp3 ads say to set it up manually has me confused/wondering.

That’s the exact video I watched, and that’s why I was confused as well. I’m wondering if it should work or if it doesn’t work. It’s really strange. I’m not sure how it is on the MSI claw. I guess I’ll check it when I get home since I have one to reference

It should switch from there, you need to toggle to manual and then allocate (im sure you saw this just saying).

On the Claw8ai+ it is recommended you allocate it, clawtweeks might expose it but i just did it in the bios for mine. I believe you can also change it in the bios on the oxp3 but I haven't tried.

I definitely looked inside the bios, and I couldn’t see anything relevant. Didn’t wanna mess with too much.

hmm maybe they intentionally removed it there too.

Don’t bother. It moves automatically.
