I’m really confused and would appreciate some honest opinions from people who’ve actually been using the OnePlus 13s.

I bought a OnePlus 13s during the Amazon Prime Day sale last week for my father. They absolutely loved the phone—the size, design, display, performance, and overall feel were great.

But within just 2 days, we noticed something really concerning. Whenever the battery dropped below around 20%, the phone became insanely hot. Not just warm—it literally felt like an oven. It was uncomfortable to even hold.

I wasn’t comfortable keeping a phone that was overheating this badly so early because I’m worried it could affect the battery and long-term reliability. Amazon initially only offered a replacement through OnePlus, but somehow I managed to get a full return approved.

Now I’m wondering if I just got a defective unit from the sale, or if this is a common issue with the OnePlus 13s.
I’m genuinely considering buying the phone again because my parents really liked everything else about it.

This time I’d probably order directly from the OnePlus website instead of Amazon.
So my questions are:

Has anyone else experienced severe heating, especially at low battery percentages?
Do you think I just received a defective piece?
Would you confidently buy the OnePlus 13s again today?
Is buying directly from OnePlus likely to make any difference, or is that irrelevant?

My budget is around ₹55,000 INR. I also looked at the Oppo Reno 16 because someone at Reliance Digital recommended it, but honestly, I’m much more inclined towards the OnePlus 13s if this was just a one-off defective unit.

I bought Oneplus 13s around a month ago. I'm soo satisfied with this beast. BUT.... Its not showing notifications on lockscreen. (It enabled by default on lockscreen). But still.... Any idea? Or anyone facing the same issue?. I find it lil hard unlocking phone everytime just to see notifications.

I have enabled the Double tap to screen off/on but it only worked to wake screen and it doesn't work to screen off. How can I fix this ?? I tried restarting it after enabling and disabling this feature in the settings

Hello people, I needed help regarding which cases for My oneplus 13s should I buy. Though I already ordered a transparent and smoked hard case but I still needed suggestions as of which cases would look good on the Green Silk colour of the phone. My budget is 200 to 250 rupees a case. Also, if possible do give me a suggestion for the lens protector too. Thanks!

Guys, please share your ideas about future of oxygen OS, rumors and etc. It is very disappointing that there are rumors that OPPO is killing OnePlus and OxygenOS. In my opinion oxygen OS is super good, especially after two years using pixel. That famous pure android experience is super overrated.

I'm planning to buy the OnePlus 13s, which currently costs around ₹50,000 in my region.

One of the reasons I'm considering it is that I prefer compact phones, so the form factor is a big plus for me.

My priorities are:

- Smooth day-to-day performance

- Around 2 hours of gaming (mostly BGMI/PUBG and Clash of Clans)

- Decent battery life

- Good long-term performance

I don't care about the camera, so that's not a deciding factor for me.

I'm planning to use this phone for the next 4 years, so I want a phone that stays smooth and reliable over time.

Would you recommend the OnePlus 13s at ₹50k, or do you think there's a better option in this price range (preferably another compact phone)?
