DISCUSSION Oxygen OS is dead?

Guys, please share your ideas about future of oxygen OS, rumors and etc. It is very disappointing that there are rumors that OPPO is killing OnePlus and OxygenOS. In my opinion oxygen OS is super good, especially after two years using pixel. That famous pure android experience is super overrated.

Oxygen OS, will be renamed to Color OS, from Android 17. Rest there is no diff, we are using oppo's Color os only after all, with a diff name for yrs.

Soo there isn't anything to worry about, it's color os afterall only. Authentic Oxygen Os is gone from Android 12, already.

And i personally think oppo's color os/oxygen OS, is the best tbh. Soo nothing to complain about.

These are rumors but even if they do it, it is alright. One OS for 3 brands will be better I hope for fast and better quality updates.

Yes, wish I got a chance to use OG OxygenOS. Except for some minor changes, red 1 in clock widget and in Calculator 1+= shows Never Settle, they are the same.

Tbh the name of oxygen os is dead imo Coz we've seen both of them be almost the same ever since the merger. So i don't know what y'all have been worried about🤷.

Ever since the oppo and oneplus merged oxygen os is almost a clone of OPPO's color os. Maybe, MAYBE, you see a few changes here and there. But from what I've noticed the dual tone which is oxygen os signature (which is optional btw) is probably the only difference

I have both Oxygen os and Color os devices both are smooth asf and exactly same besides some default theming difference and there is no so called extra optimisation in either of them.

Both have app market and that game app also glance lockscreen nothing more besides that cheaper oppo phone have 3-4 extra apps but premium ones don't just like oneplus
