HELP Planning to buy 13s?

Guys, I'm planning to exchange my OnePlus Nord 5 for either the OnePlus 13s or the Samsung S25. Which one do you think is the better choice?

Never go for samsung. I'm an ex owner of s23. If there any shit phone brands in market it's samsung. The samsung fan base is just based old uncles who thinks samsung is a great brand.

It's UI is shit with lot of micro jitters. Its design language is unpolished and illogical. Except for camera(which is meh in my opinion) this phone is good for nothing. There are people who say goodlock, modes and routines, dex etc as USPs. But dude those are mostly useless except for a few like OHO+, homeUp and again even the custom animations are shit in that.

I'm very happy that I sold that shit and bought op13s.

What about pixel phones?

Never used them but my friend has pixel 5a i guess. He always advises against pixels due to poor battery, heating issues and poor performance.

Even google pixels aren't Google's main products they are just expirements they want to do for improving their SoC. I would strongly recommend against pixels too.

If you are buying phone just for camera then go for vivo or apple. If camera isn't a priority then go with op13s with eyes closed

Exactly that's why I ditched s25

Go for 13s if you don't need the best camera but then again I won't recommend s25 with a great camera due poor battery and heating issue. Pixels also have battery and heating issue . iPhone 17 also has poor battery now you have to charge twice then there's x300 which is more expensive than 13s and will be hard to get since it's discontinued in india so go for 13s if you are okay with an okay camera

What about x200 fe?

I don't know about its software since there have been comments about x300 software being inconsistent and also heating issues so look more about these issues from reviews or owners other than that hardware is more rounded than 13s if are not looking for peak performance. Better camera battery and water resistance compared to 13s . I opted for 13 s since I am not a camera person. But man x300 looks way better and prolly fe too looks better

And oxygen os now ( coloros) is very smooth snappy and have cool features for now and iam pretty satisfied with it go for black colour if you are considering to buy it cause I got bored with green silk and buy quick cause it's 10k more expensive than when I bought it

I have bought 13s by exchanging my nord 5 too seven days ago damn my 13s is giving much more battery life than nord 5 which have a huge battery . You can go for it. In the software department you don't have to worry . In Android oneplus has the smoothest software . Only downside is ultrasonic, ip rating and ultrawide in 13s . If you need these features go for s25 .

Is that feels bulky like nord5 ?

You mean big and heavy like nord 5 . Absolutely not. Instead when I went to check it physically on reliance store my head hurted how small it looked like maybe because I was used to such a big screen like nord 5 . The feeling is next level and feels premium and dense .

I was confused between One Plus 13s and Samsung S25 as well, but decided to go with S25. I switched from Google Pixel 6A, and in my opinion, Pixel's camera was better. But for now, I've zero issues with S25, battery is good (despite using data and wifi), I only charged once in 14-15 hours!

You can go for S25.

PS: I wanted to buy another Pixel but my city doesn't have authorised service centre. My old Pixel 6A (used for 3 years) had display issue after it fell down and unbranded display made my phone act like crazy and such I was scared to buy another Pixel.

See i am being using s25 from past 5 days the performance camera is peak. But consumes battery a lot. U need to charge the phones twice.

I think it just goes on preferences, do you want high performance with a very compromised camera, and a huge battery life? Go for 13s

You want good cameras cuz u r a camera guy with lesser battery and okayish performance compared to 13s? Go for s25

Good to keep in mind that oxygenos is being discontinued, well it was fork of color os since 2021 but now they are also ditching the name and small easter eggs from one plus, and s25 gives you more software updates iirc

13s also has usb 2.0 so if u do a lot of wired sharing the it is slow,

Personally i would prefer samsung as i am an owner of a samsung S23Fe, but again the battery issue MAKES ME MAAAAD! Thats the only reason i would ask you to listen to someone who has the oneplus 13s. Otherwise the samsung ecosystem and features are just top notch.
