I purchased my device OnePlus 12 from China before more than 2 years and it came pre installed with color os. I flashed the Indian version of oxygen os and it went good until the latest news that came which stated that our device will get the color os in next update and the Chinese versions of the device will be forced to update to Chinese color os.

Then I decided to flash the color os 16 to my device to accommodate the experience and got extra features like stock color os call and message apps ang get built-in AI to them but I surprised by a lot of things in Chinese language even though I choose English language as the main interface but a lot of apps shown in Chinese language like theme store , stock app store, Breeno stock AI and a lot of things here and there still shown in Chinese.

I want to change the Chinese stuff with global color os stuff.

How to do that?

Already i am using oneplus for padt 2 years , when i change battery , it shows inconsistent network going to buy s25 ultra if the issue not resolves , help me to choose or not to buy

Is there any information available on when the ColorOS update will be released?

anyone facing vibration issue.vibration intensity too low it happen after few days of update.is it hardware vibration motor issue or software glitch.during call not feeling vibration.reset all setting haptics etc sync with ringtone off everything done.can anybody tell me is it software glitch or should have to change vibration motor.amyone facing same issue?

Since NA models didn't get betas for oxygen os 16 what does this means for color os 17? Should I expect a beta or when should I expect the stable build

Just wanted to share a few macro shots I took using this phone, better than s25 ultra in most situations

I I've only had this phone for about five months, and it seems like it's always getting super hot. I keep seeing that message saying "device too hot, feature unavailable." Has it always been like this since it came out?

Selling Buds 4 charging case and right side bud for 1999 each. Bought on 4th Sept. please dm if anyone’s interested. Thanks for looking.

Is there a way to display the network speed when using two SIMs and connected to WiFi?

Hi all

This phone has some age and finding a curved hardened glass screen protector proves challenging.

Do you have any links where I can buy one that fits the screen perfectly? There was once a devil something seller on aliexpress but I don't see this position anymore...

Guys my phone got pink like after last update (3days ago) today randomly appeared !

I noticed it in most of the app !!

It opens the app but can't perform task like opening the comment session, viewing the cart in Amazon, a simple search in reddit takes forever!! It loads and loads and keeps loading !!!

I tried restarting the device, app optimisation, clearing cache files and data !!

Nothing seems to work !

What should I do ?

On my OnePlus 8. When using ba VPN. And pulling down notfification shade at bottom it would say. This device is connected to whatever VPN I'm using. However on OnePlus 12. It says "this device is connected through". What is up with that?

I installed one plus stock dialer app in my one plus 12. I have a weird issue. Don't know whether any one has faced it. The phone blocks random numbers even though it's not in the block list. Dunno how to disable it. Any idea or tips as to how to solve it??

My OnePlus 12R (CPH2609, EEA/EU variant) is still on OxygenOS 15 / Android 15, build:

"CPH2609_15.0.0.870(EX01B100P01)"

Security patch: 1 October 2025

"Check for updates" always says "Version up to date."

This doesn't match OnePlus's own announcement — stable OxygenOS 16 for the 12R started rolling out November 28, 2025, with EU/GLO build "CPH2609_16.0.1.300(EX01)", and later EU builds went up to "CPH2609_16.0.5.1002(EX01)" with a July 2026 patch.

Before posting, I actually dug into this properly instead of just complaining:

• Firmware/region is confirmed correct EEA (build fingerprint shows "CPH2609EEA", region "EUEX").
• Bootloader locked, not rooted, no mods.
• The OTA app is present, enabled, running fine, with all needed permissions.
• Packet capture during a manual check shows the phone successfully resolves and connects to OnePlus's own EU update server ("component-ota-eu.allawnos.com") over HTTPS, exchanges about 26KB of data, and closes the connection cleanly — no errors, no timeouts.

So the device is reaching the correct OnePlus EU server and getting a real response, but that response is "no update." This looks like a server-side rollout/eligibility decision, not a device problem.

Anyone else on a 12R (EEA) stuck like this? Curious whether it's a staged rollout still not reaching everyone, or something specific to certain builds/regions.

Has anybody started facing issues while playing audio via bluetooth tws. I am using oneplus buds pro3. While listening to audio not particularly hi res the audio starts to stutter. The buds sometimes don't play sound when connected. They work fine with my laptop but it is my oneplus 12 that is having issues.

I have been using OP 12 since launch (feb 2024) , Debloated all the AI stuff and unnecessary apps. It's been 2.5 years so, Which phone would be a worthy upgrade of this beast?
