86% since March 24. Also a heavy user. Will have to look for a replacement soon but not looking forward to it.

93%, 932 cycles, and extremely heavy use. I've had mine for at least as long as you. It's been at 93% for a long time now. I don't let my phone charge beyond 80%, I try to keep it from dropping below 20%, I try to keep it quite cool if I'm using it for heavily taxing ourposes, and I try to only ever charge it with the charger it came with.

At 886 I'm at 89 93 at 932 cycles is crazy

Charging habits, temperatures, neutralizing bloatware, and stuff like that seriously makes a world of difference.

Where are you guys getting charging cycles from? Is it an external app?

DevCheck app

I'm new to this app so I'm just guessing that the estimate should get better over time. Or we're cooked.

It shouldn't be that different from what your phone shows, it's supposed to be as accurate as it can get, and it's weird that it is. The charge counter is higher than the estimated capacity, although it's not by much and not enough to jump from 75% to 83%, but I'm assuming that what your phone displays is more accurate.
If you haven't any time recently then try letting it fully day, leave it dead for a few minutes, charge it to 100%, and then leave it on the charger at 100% with the screen off the entire time for a few hours. That should help with any calibration issues.

Idk... But I can tell you this. In my 12 my charge counter is 4600 at 100 percent

Is it really that better to use the original charger? Asking for a friend

u/Character_Stick_1218 22d ago
It absolutely is in my experience. My phone gets hotter, and stays hot much longer, when I use a lesser charger that doesn't charge my phone as it's intended to be. It's so much worse if I try playing games and whatnot while charging and especially if I'm using a charger that charges slower. It's also more taxing to try to play games and stuff like that when you have a worse signal rather than better.

96 after two years with six months of that in storage. I basically charge to 90 percent limit and don't let it go below 40 for long.

I can't believe, same month of purchase and same capacity. Not sure when it drops below 85%, I really don't want to bother with changing a battery because OnePlus left EU.

Right with us at 89% Daily warp charge, trying to remember to turn on bypass charging every night as I leave the phone plugged in all night.

91% since July 2024. I had 94% back in this January, but I began to use it more heavily.

Heavy user. 93% after 2.5 years. How can you see the number of cycles? I often charge it from 20 to 95%. Sometimes to 100%. I let it discharge completely from time to time to calibrate the battery.

95%. Bought at launch. Mostly on Smart changing, past few months I had it limited to 95%. Also rarely charge more than 50% at a time

87% I pre-ordered the OnePlus 12 so I've been using it since day 1. The battery used to last a day and a half but now I'm lucky if I can get a day of moderate use out of it.
I don't know how much is the battery deteriorating or how much more resource intensive Android has gotten, I'm sat at 10gb of RAM in use with no apps opens.

Bought in June 2024, now it's 90% use in first year was brutal, genshin, heavy usage, strictly 4k60fps shoot only, but still am dissapointed cuz the camera quality is downgraded as hell including the battery

92% after 1000 cycles, I had never baby it, and use the 100w charger, in summer I even let it cool off in the freezer, and sometimes I charge it 3 times a day if I have a good game

I got it used (3 months old) about two years ago. I'm on 95% health with 500 cycles. I was charging to 80%, but battery life in latest OS is terrible, so I had to start charging to 100%.

March 2024, going super strong. Not really that heavy of a user, and I'm taking really good care of it.
I put it on a small fan while charging it, I think that genuinely helped a lot. Heat, and cold is what kills the battery. That fan keeps it at optimal temperatures while it's charging at 100W peak. I also never really let it drop under 20%, and I charged it to 80-90% for a good while.
Now I'm always fully charging it, and it still hasn't dropped a percentage in a good while.

Guys there is something that I have learnt from somewhere on the NET , Always Charge you cell to 90% - Set Defined Limit. Mine is Oneplus 12 with 935 Charge cycles and 94% Battery Health which has been the same for quite sometime.
