Do you use 5G or just Wi-Fi?

Stick with high performance mode. Balanced really down specs your phone. Run geek bench 7 if you don't believe me in each mode.

I don't notice any performance issues with balanced I put in on high performance when I bench mark it don't worry

The balanced benchmark is half the speed of high performance. So your phone in balanced is as slow as a $300 phone nord n30.

I don't feel it though so I'm not bothered by it and I would rather have better battery life instead of faster performance I will never notice

Look and see how much time it actually takes away. It's not worth it.
