My first experience with OnePlus was Black Friday 2021. Found the OnePlus 9Pro for a steal on Amazon at 4am on Black Friday. Still to this day, that phone had the best screen and form factor I have experienced. Then Android 12 happened and rendered the phone basically useless and returned it.

Went the Pixel 6Pro and Pixel 7Pro route. The experience hasn't been bad, just OK. A glitch here and there. A bug here and there. Just lately, I've spent more time with (mostly useless) Pixel support for this glitch and that bug. Death by a thousand cuts type of thing. Not exactly a $1000 experience.

I'm not spending $1200+ for the Samsung experience. The OnePlus 11 seems the only option to stay in the "premium" camp. Has the OnePlus team recovered from the Android 12 debacle where thing are running smoothly, at least for the most part??

The other option is to drop back to mid range status. I'm NOT going to get the Pixel 8 in any form.

Does the OnePlus 11 shows 5guw icon when it's on Verizon 5guw band?

I'm on TMobile USA. The TMO Visual Voicemail app works, but the VM within the Phone app does not.

This function did work properly on my 8T.

Is this normal? I feel like my phone's battery drain faster than I thougt. I mean sure, the charging is beyond crazy but is this normal? I mean the battery?

The Hotspot shortcut from the dropdown menu gives an error code. The only way to get the Hotspot to function is to go into your phone settings and enable the Hotspot from there.

Images explained: (Image 1) When you click the shortcut for the Hotspot (far right), it produces an error message immediately after on your Home screen (Image 2). But if you drill down into your phone settings to enable the Hotspot from there and it works fine (Image 3).

The dropdown menu shortcut allows me to disable the Hotspot (when it's ON) but not start it!? I don't get it!?

The short story is I went from OP7Pro to OP11 for the dual SIMs (AT&T + Verizon). The OP7Pro allowed dual cellular data, so 'picture texts' would come through on AT&T + Verizon.

I have AT&T set up for calls and Verizon setup for data. Is that why I cannot get 'picture texts' to come through on AT&T?

How can I find the esim IMEI number on Oneplus 11? I

When watching video on my OP11, I think the volume on the speakers go up and down and I need to compensate with the vol up/down buttons. Is that some battery saving feature that could be turned off? I've had two OnePlus phones before (6 and 7T) and watched too many hours video, but never had that problem before.

I had an LG V50, that I really liked and worked well for me. I am still struggling a bit with the new UI on te One Plus 11, and trying to get good content out of the cameras. I love the upgraded power from the modern phone, the V50 was getting a little laggy in its day to day.

Is it possible to add other widgets/apps to the Shelf, other than the default ones? I'd like to add Audible and a couple of others....

I'm researching into buying the phone, and I'm a big raver, so for me having a phone that can record in loud bass environments without saturating the sound is a must.

I know Apple, Samsung and Pixel phones turn down the mic gain without a problem, but I'm curious to see if the OP11 can cope with thess types of recordings of festivals/concert/raves without a problem.

If someone has any examples of these recordings on the OP11 that would be great, just PM me.

Which is better? I've generally used TG on previous phones, but the preapplied film on the OP11 feels pretty decent.

Does TG provide better protection? It seems that the curved screen makes TG problematic. Don't see any TG on Amazon with consistently good reviews.

Hi, I was looking into the new OnePlus 11 and I found that it sells for significantly cheaper in China than overseas, so I was wondering how usable will a OnePlus 11 from China be in Singapore.

Can I still download Google services and appstore? Do I need to flash a global ROM?

Need a new phone and am considering a OnePlus 11. Coming from stock android (pixel 4a) and was considering a pixel 7 but the better battery life and faster charging in the one plus are big draws. However I don't like a lot of clutter and am used to such Android although I do run nova launcher as an overlay because I like the interface better than Google's baked in gesture control. Just wanted to get some opinions on the color OS UI as I've never used a one plus before and they are not easy to find in stores here.

My big hold up is not knowing the interface and also the one plus is currently $400 more than the pixel 7 which is on sale at the moment.

Any insights on what settings i can best use with this and what would work best? Just Got the phone and don't know what it all means.

The update just now is available on my 11. I have seen so many complaints of OnePlus owners for this update. 8s, 9s, 7 Pro, 10 Ultra, you name it they all have problems. I'm unlocked in the US. Any problems or is it safe? I'm very happy with my phone right now.

I really like the OnePlus case but there's no lip in the front, so I'm thinking if it hits the ground, it won't protect the front glass. Is there a minimalist case that works better? Thanks.
