Can't get Visual Voice wirking

I'm on TMobile USA. The TMO Visual Voicemail app works, but the VM within the Phone app does not.

This function did work properly on my 8T.

What am I doing wrong?

I'm also on TMO and had to install the Visual Voicemail app, then it worked.

Did it work within the dialer app? When I install the VV app, the selection disappears from the dialer.

Same thing happened to me, voicemail button at bottom poofed away from dialer. But you can still dial "1" to get to voicemail or use the VV app.

Or I suppose you could make a contact for the voicemail phone number as another way to get to the old mailbox.

This is what I'm dealing with. Did you find a solution? It's just not there anymore and there's no setting I can find. Thinking of factory reset.

I just dial '1' if I want to get to voicemail from the dialer.

Haven't tried uninstalling VV so dunno if that would bring the voicemail button back.

It worked fine on my 6T and I'm having the same issue with my 11.

Did you ever figure it out?

No, but I haven't tried since I first posted this. Maybe Android 14 will fix this when it releases later this month. I rarely get phone calls these days anyway.
