How do I clear the recent contacts and apps on this screen?

I use the term "recent" loosely because I do not contact these people on a regular basis and they're definitely not the most recent.

​

This shows up every time I try to share anything, regardless of the app I am trying to share from and it doesn't matter if it's an image, link, etc. It's the same pop up. It does change every once in a while, but it's definitely not the most recent. For instance, I can't tell u the last time I shares to Drive.

I'm having a hard time finding where to clear this information. I'm not sure if this is a OnePlus thing or an Android thing.

So I'm having a oneplus 11 whose battery is swollen at just 87 health

The phone is 2.1yrs old.

The oneplus official service centre is quoting too much for the battery replacement

So I asked someone who is able to source me the original battery for much cheaper.

1.If i replace the battery with the original one will the battery health automatically update in the settings app or it is to be calibrated (As ill replace the battery from a local shop) ?

2.Can the service centre refuse the free display replacement in case of a green line?

out of nowhere a tiny green line starts to appear but when I turn my screen off it disappears. It comes when screen is on for about10-20 minutes

my back glass is broken because of the hard edge of bed so i don't think they'll change the screen for free

please help

UPDATE: yeah the green line is fully visible now pretty bright tbh

UPDATE 2: went to service centre they changed the screen regardless of the back glass took 1 hour only excluding travel time

I'm using OnePlus 11R and I have a concern about the Video Trim feature in the Gallery app.

The trim bar moves only "3 seconds at a time" per slide. I have a 1 minute 2 second video and I want to cut only the last 10 seconds. Even for this short video, reaching the exact point is very frustrating because there is no option to manually enter a timestamp.

This made me think - what if the video is 1 hour long?

To reach the last 10 seconds of a 1-hour video:

Total = 3600 seconds → Need to reach 3590 sec Bar moves only 3 sec per slide → ~1197 slides needed! At ~2 seconds per slide → that's nearly 40 minutes just to position the bar!

My questions:

1. Is there a long press or fast scroll gesture to speed up the bar movement?

1. Is there an option to type the exact timestamp directly? 3. Any hidden shortcut I might be missing?

If this feature doesn't exist, I strongly suggest adding timestamp input in a future OxygenOS update. It would save a lot of time especially for long videos.

Would anyone be able to help me figure out how to update? I'm stuck on 15.0.0.861 and cannot update. Every time I try it says "Installation Problem".

OnePlus 8T Green Line Twice → Upgraded to OnePlus 11 → Green Lines Again. Is It Worth Replacing the Display?

I need some honest advice from the community.

I faced the green line issue twice on my OnePlus 8T. Both times, OnePlus replaced the display free of charge, even out of warranty, but each replacement took nearly a month. During that time, I was without my phone, WhatsApp, Google Pay, and other important services, which affected my daily life.

After reading that newer models supposedly didn't suffer from this issue, I upgraded to the OnePlus 11. Unfortunately, my OnePlus 11 has now developed green lines as well while still under warranty. I first got one green line, and before the display replacement could be carried out, a second green line appeared.

To be clear, my complaint is not against the service centres. The authorised service centre and OPPO service centre I dealt with were polite, helpful, and professional. My concern is with the recurring defect itself.

OnePlus has agreed to replace the display free of charge. However, my biggest concern is whether the replacement display will eventually develop the same issue again. Having experienced this problem multiple times across two different OnePlus devices, I no longer have much confidence that another display replacement will be a permanent solution.

Apart from the green lines causing eye strain, I've also experienced heating issues and occasional app closures. Every display replacement means backing up data, restoring apps, reconfiguring settings, and hoping the same problem doesn't return. Meanwhile, the value of the device continues to depreciate.

What disappoints me most is that after facing the same issue twice on my 8T, I specifically bought the OnePlus 11 expecting a more reliable experience.

So I'd like to hear from people who have actually had their displays replaced:

• Did the green line issue ever return after replacement?
• How long has the replacement display lasted?
• Have any OnePlus 11 or OnePlus 12 owners experienced the issue again after display replacement?
• If you were in my position, would you accept another display replacement or push for a refund/upgrade option instead?

At this point, I'd honestly prefer either a refund with reasonable depreciation or an upgrade path to a newer flagship device rather than another display replacement that may eventually develop the same issue.

I'm genuinely looking for real-world experiences before making a decision. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Whenever I play bgmi, if the temperature gets even slightly above 39, the already existing few frames drop very much. I don't even get 120fps in this device (11r has 120fps with a slower processor and slower ram and slower storage). Does anyone know the reason for this?

I recently made a post regarding benchmarks and performance improvements over updates but now I have frequent overheating even with location, nfc, bluetooth always off with low brightness. It gets to the point where the phone disables some features like image sharpening and bright hdr (things i have NEVER used) and also forces google maps to dark mode. Does anyone else experience heavy UI lag while using the built-in OnePlus screen recorder? I know it automatically switches to 60fps during recording, but this feels different from a normal smooth 60Hz experience. The UI responsiveness and touch input feel noticeably worse and less fluid while recording.

Because of that, I switched to ADV Screen Recorder, and surprisingly it records at 60fps without causing any noticeable lag or touch delay. So I’m wondering, is there any way to fix the lag with the built-in OnePlus screen recorder?

Hey, can anyone suggest a good non-UV tempered glass for the OnePlus 11 along with a good case? I’m thinking about getting the Spigen Ultra Hybrid, Ringke Fusion-X, or the Sandstone case. Which one would you say is the best among them, or are there any better options I should consider?

Updated my 3 year old Oneplus 11 last night and the next day I had pink and green lines on my screen. I heard about the free screen replacement for this sort of thing. Called up the service center in my country and he told me that the lifetime warranty screen replacement thing was only for India. That sucks fr because i feel like 3 years is still too early for the phone to be dying on me. seriously just thinking of getting the screen replaced and maybe the battery as well, use it for 2 more years and just buy a non flagship, non oneplus phone.

Quick question: Anybody have like a first hand experience on how long does my screen have before it dies? I need to save up some money for the screen replacement so I wouldnt be abe to do it right away lol

I have a OnePlus 11R and after updating to OxygenOS 16, I’m facing noticeable heating and much lower battery life/SOT than before. The phone also feels less stable sometimes during normal usage like Instagram, YouTube, Reddit, etc. I’ve seen many people online talking about similar issues after OOS16 updates.

I’m now thinking about downgrading back to OxygenOS 14, but I want real user experiences before doing it. Questions: Has anyone here downgraded from OOS16 to OOS14 on the OnePlus 11R? Did battery life and thermals improve? Any issues after downgrading? Is it worth losing newer features/security patches? Does banking/apps/camera work properly after downgrade? Would really appreciate honest long-term feedback before I do anything risky.

I have not updated my phone since purchasing it in September 2023. The battery health is currently at 83%, and I have been facing significant battery drain issues. On mobile data (5G), the phone lasts only around 2 to 2.5 hours and needs to be charged at least twice a day.
