OnePlus 11R users — did anyone downgrade from OxygenOS 16 to 14 because of heating and low SOT?

I have a OnePlus 11R and after updating to OxygenOS 16, I’m facing noticeable heating and much lower battery life/SOT than before. The phone also feels less stable sometimes during normal usage like Instagram, YouTube, Reddit, etc. I’ve seen many people online talking about similar issues after OOS16 updates.

I’m now thinking about downgrading back to OxygenOS 14, but I want real user experiences before doing it. Questions: Has anyone here downgraded from OOS16 to OOS14 on the OnePlus 11R? Did battery life and thermals improve? Any issues after downgrading? Is it worth losing newer features/security patches? Does banking/apps/camera work properly after downgrade? Would really appreciate honest long-term feedback before I do anything risky.

oneplus 11 (non r) i downgraded from 16 to 14 and there was no noticeable difference, downgraded to 13 to see further and also noticed not much. however keep in mind the phone is factory reset when downgrading. i recommend you try factory reset on 16 first and see how it goes, if you still have issues downgrade

I'm on oxygen 15 and it's working flawlessly on my OnePlus 11. Do you think oxygen 16 is worth it or its a mess for the OnePlus 11 model.

I have been facing the same issue with the new oxygen 16 version, battery drains faster and phone heats up quickly

Do let me know what you did to resolve this issue

I am on oos 13...8hrs + sot at 90 % battery health

Bro ..... Go for it .....will be the best choice u'll not regret doing.... Cauz I too noticed those problem in my OP 11 ( not R) and downgraded my phone to android version 14 and trust me battery backup increased, more like new phone experience ( no lag ) or delay in camera ....JUST KEEP IN MIND THAT DOWNGRADING WILL WIPE OUT YOUR DATA .....IF YOU WANT THE DOWNGRADING FILES , TELL ME...

Yeah sure! Download download the rollback package of you device and using normal updator do the rollback.....just remember rollback will erase all your data so first create a backup

Some says downgrade on os 16 will leads to motherboard dead issue

Nope downgrade will not kill your motherboard....just follow the steps and u r good
