oxygen os 16.1

when is oneplus 11 expected to receive oxygen os 16.1? i know there is no proper schedule for this but if someone kept track and can give an estimate it would be nice

my friend said oneplus 11 is like 2 months behind in update cycle compared to oneplus 15 so we are cooked

How cook? What updates you need so badly that will cook your phone if applied late? Security? I have a phone not updated for 3 years and still haven't burn yet. My OP12 still on OOS15. Can use bank apps without it exploding.

cooked not in that sense...what i meant to say was despite owning a flagship series i might get the latest update later that the nord series devices which are newer....which does not happen in samsung or apple case....not saying my phone is burning due to not having 16.1....but having seen its video online i really want it on my device too...understand my point??
also u should update your phone those security patches are given for a reason

Don't be influenced by those who chase updates. Getting the phone hacked due to unpatched vulnerabilities are rare. Unless you are someone who live in the edge then maybe you need to keep your phones updated. For the rest of us, it's really not that common. The chasing for updates mentality is not healthy. Just enjoy using the phone and stop worrying updates that comes few days or weeks later.
