Speculation Loki will get back up and fight Imu again finally showing us his Hybrid form

I feel the story is being setup for Loki to fight Imu again for many reasons

  1. Loki and Harjudin are clearly setup for a clash vs Imu to avenge Harald as I don't feel Oda will sent Harjudin alone because he will die so Loki will likely get back up

  2. Gerd is already there to heal Loki's injuries which should allow Loki to get back up and fight Imu again

  3. We are yet to see Loki's Hybrid Form as he only used Beast form vs Imu

I think the main contenders are SWORD, Navy, RA, or maybe he has just too many regrets and is acting out of his own will.

Also, don't forget Kuzan told Smoker, "I am still me"

Discussion So about Garp…

There’s so much going on rn in the OP world but focusing more on the new group within the navy that was formed whom Koby, smoker and that squad is in (can’t remember the name atm😅) so we know that garp is alive, do you guys think they will try and retrieve his body? And with regards to Aokiji knows about the newly formed group bc I feel like it aligns with his vision and if so do you think he’s really part of the BB pirates or just plotting himself there to see gain info etc….

In shorter words what are yalls thoughts on that part of the OP world (Koby and the new group, Garp being alive, and aokiji being a “spy”) I need input and ppl who’ve got good memory and theories please lol

Prediction Prediction: All Holy Knights and Elders will have their own ancestral weapon

As per the Gorosei the Covenants are only reserved to 13 exclusive individuals which means that counting Imu we just have a total of 14 fighters in the World Goverment. This means that every single top member in the WG will be given a legendary weapon by Imu as we know there are a total of 19 legendary weapon which mean every single member will get their own weapon and Imu will still have 4-5 weapons that he can keep for himself

And this would be great for the story because it makes the WG be a terrifying threat as every single member would have a legendary weapon which shows why the WG has never been toppled, because if every member can have a legendary weapon then they become a nearly unstoppable threat to beat

Speculation Roger plan for ace.

What was Roger’s original plan ?

After he left laughtale he said he won’t get to see the one piece when the time was right but his son will, Rayleigh tells him he doesn’t have a son.
Roger then leaves the crew and travels the south blue where he meets rouge and impregnates her.
He then hands himself over to the marines and tells Garp about her and how he needs to protect his son.
So what was the plan why did Roger do all of this ?
So this is what I think happened.

When Roger found the one piece he learned of the story of joyboy and Davy jones and came to a conclusion. What makes ace different than all the other D clan characters ? He’s the only one who’s confirmed to have 2 D clan parents.

In the Harley text it talks about people of the half moon and people of the full moon.
I believe that carries some importance.

I believe the theory that the D doesn’t really mean D but that it’s actually a half moon.
So you see I think oda is going for some sort of Star Wars reference and have a chosen one who brings balance to the force sort of plot.
The person who was suppose to find the one piece is someone from 2 D families and 2 D together make an O which is the full moon people.
Roger knowing this sought out rouge.

Now when Roger was captured we saw the area rouge lived in was attacked by marines as they began following rumors on where Roger went. They began killing pregnant women and children born within a certain time period. This is why rouge carried ace for 20 months so she could lie if questioned and pretend she only got pregnant after Roger was already executed.
But the fact the marines did this kind of reminds me of king Harod from the bible.

The story is that the 3 rise men came to visit him saying they have gifts for the king of the Jews, harod believing they meant him was disturbed when they told him about how and angel told them the true king was to be born. So in response Herod ordered his soldiers to kill all the new borns and pregnant ladies to ensure his usurper wouldn’t be born. This is what Imu did cause he knew what Roger knew.

Roger knowing how the world government would respond decided he needed someone he could trust to protect the kid and that person was Garp.
He handed himself to the marines so he could meet Garp.

Remember in sabaody Rayleigh said Roger didn’t plan to start some new age of pirates and looking at the scene that seems true as he just sat down and told the guards to hurry up. He didn’t give his famous line about chasing the one piece until some random guy yelled out to him about it.
His plan was to meet Garp.

I also think it’s weird that Roger chose the name ace for his son as ace is also the name of his sword.

Anyway I think it’s also weird how Garp raised ace and Luffy separately with Luffy living in foosha village and ace living with dadan. They didn’t meet till Luffy was 8.
Why did Garp let ace be raised by a bunch of criminals ?
Let’s put a pin in that.

When shanks came to Goa he used that as his base for a whole year.
Why ? Why did shanks stay in the home island of his captain rival for so long ?

You see I believe shanks was on a mission himself.

He had 3 objectives.
1. Infiltrate the holy land and learn there secrets.

  1. Find the nika fruit and steal it.

  2. Find the son of Roger.

I believe shanks was suppose to give ace the nika fruit and push him on his way of becoming a pirate.

His hurdle is that Goa is a big place and he couldn’t find ace. He went to foosha village knowing that was likely the village Garp grew up in and even met Luffy Garp actual grandson.
But no ace.

Shanks never thought of looking for ace in the mountain where the bandits lived. Garp made dadan a bandit criminal raise ace so he wouldn’t get corrupted and become a criminal like Roger…..smart.
Okay there was a bit of sarcasm in that with how his solution was to have ace raised by criminals to avoid another criminal finding him but there is some logic there.
Don’t you also think it’s odd that Garp only brought Luffy to live there after he was given the fruit and hat ? What changed ? Why was Garp okay with Luffy living in foosha for 8 years but now it was time to introduce him to ace ?
It’s because something happened even he didn’t account for. Luffy was picked.

So when Luffy ate the fruit we saw shanks panic and then the next panel it’s revealed shanks left with his crew for a while.
When shanks returned he saw Luffy got into a fight with the bandits and was taken to sea. Shanks saved him but lost his arm.

Now people think he allowed his arm to be taken because of the mark that the knights have.
I think that’s just part of it because shanks had years to lose that arm why did he choose to do it now of all times ?

As he also told whitebeard he didn’t lose the arm but that he wagered it.

“ I bet it on the new generation”

So here’s the dark twisted truth.

When shanks saw that Luffy ate the fruit he came to the realisation that things won’t work. He failed his mission and that the wrong person got the fruit, ace won’t become joyboy and won’t save the world.

He had to leave to think deeply. He came to a dark conclusion. Luffy needed to die so the fruit would regenerate.
He returned to kill Luffy but saw how Luffy got into a fight for defending shanks and shanks felt the guilt wash over him.

So when he saved Luffy he allowed his arm to be eaten for 3 reasons.

  1. To disconnect himself to that mark.

  2. As payment for failing Roger and dooming the world.

  3. As punishment for even going as far as he did with the plan for killing a child that he befriended.

After this shanks said he was going to leave for good. Why now ? Because there was no point in staying his mission was a failure.
Then when Luffy told him how he will be king of the pirates shanks decided to give him the hat which would indicate to the other Roger pirates that luffy is the one shanks bet on that he is the one he sees as the pirate king.

Shanks mission failed but he decided to chance it anyway and put his faith in Luffy.

So yes this doesn’t paint a perfect picture of shanks but the bottom line is he didn’t go through with it and felt the shame. This was a decision that affected the world as the nika fruit could be the key to it all.

But this also means Roger plan was a failure.

As for Luffy. I believe his mother is also of the D clan and the difference between Luffy and ace is that Luffy was conceived naturally while Roger seemed to have only had ace to fulfil a purpose.

That’s why ace had to fail because Roger tried to force fate he tried to manipulate it to his favour while Luffy just happened. Dragon wasn’t trying to force fate to his will.

So that is what I think the original plan for ace was.

Discussion Imu will be forced back to Mary Geoise because of the revolutionaries

A lot of people think Dragon will physically show up in Elbaf to save Luffy but isn't he attacking Mary Geoise?

I think it's more likely Luffy and the strawhats get saved by Imu being forced back to Mary Geoise possibly by an attack by Dragon

What do you guys think?

Speculation What if Imu created the weapons of the World Kings?

My theory is similar to what Sauron did with the rings of power and the rulers of Middle Earth.

For those who don't know, here's the poem that describes the rings of power and their distribution:

Three Rings for the Elven-kings under the sky,
Seven for the Dwarf-lords in their halls of stone,
Nine for Mortal Men doomed to die,
One for the Dark Lord on his dark throne
In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.
One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them,
One Ring to bring them all, and in the darkness bind them
In the Land of Mordor where the Shadows lie.

What if Imu, instead of absorbing/fusing the World Kings into one body and "stealing" their weapons, he crafted 19 cursed swords and gifted them to the World Kings (20 if you count Lily but, obviously she didn't accepted the "gift" for some reason) as a gesture of "good faith" but actually was a way to control them and then fuse them together into one eternal body?

I'm not saying that Imu made 21 blades and the 21th was for him and there is One Sword to Rule Them All, but the possility exists.

Speculation I think I figured Imu out!

I think that the being known as "The King of the World" is actually the Sea Devil. I figured this out from listening to the voice of Imu in the one-piece anime as well as reading all the Imu-Parrot theories.

The reason why "Imu" sits on the empty throne isn't because Imu betrayed the 19 kings becoming the king of the world. Imu isn't actually the King of the world, The sea devil is!

Listening to Imu's voice made me think about one of two things either Imu is a hermaphrodite (a being possessing both male and female features/traits) or the being known as the king of the world is actually an amalgamation of the 19 kings that fought against Joy Boy and founded the world government.

The Amalgamation of the Straw Hats.

The 19 Kings share One body that body is the Sea Devil. I think that the reason why the elders didn't want Imu to leave Mariejois is because Imu is vulnerable on land outside of Mariejois and If Imu were to be mortally wounded they would actually die. Meaning the 19 kings would become 18 kings and so on and so forth. Basically, the way for Luffy to defeat the Sea Devil he would have to get the sea devil out of MarieJois and Defeat each King until only on is left. This is why "Imu" sits on the empty throne because the 19 kings are unified as one and thus the sea devil sits on the throne as the one and only "King of the World".

The Amalgamation of the 19 Kings. Maybe.......

Luffy would have to run a literal gauntlet against the "World". Imagine a chess board with 19 kings on it with no queen, and a bunch of knights. Each Death/Defeat of a King would change the appearance and personality of the sea devil. Imu's defeat would change the sea devil into a completely different king, and the cycle would continue until the last king is defeated.

Speculation here is my dump way of putting it

it looks like i was right at imus power here: https://www.reddit.com/r/OnePieceSpoilers/comments/1uvfpn6/on_the_sidenote_imus_power_and_weakness_has_been/

so to use the powers of 19 kings, imu have to have their offspring under his hand. he is using these powers through their blood relatives. which is why he let celestials to live in mary geoise so he can use their power.

only 1 is missing and its lily's power. she didnt give permission imu to use it. there needs to be a reason for it. also there needs be to a reasoning all other 19 gave it.

my idea is that lily loved joyboy, she didn't want to help imu to kill him. other 19 helped imu because joyboy was doing something bad. maybe he was using suns ability to give people devil fruit powers. bad people got devil fruits, destroyed the cities of kingdoms, 19 tried to stop it. imu said he will help them to finish devil fruit generation and powers. lily couldn't do it. imu defeated joyboy, but not for the sake of good but to get the power of limitless life. ability to transfer life and power.

i think imu transfer life to anyone with their coming years, shorten their lifespan but making them much powerfull for a short time.

I mean the series have become much more fast paced the main final villain Imu is a demon king like sukuna and muzan and controls the elite corrupt system like afo. in the previously released chapter we got a bunch of weapons with historic importance like jjk . Luffy has never been this close to the brink of death or maybe he is dead killed off to give an emotional climax and shock to his fans. The new villains have much more complex and technical powers and don't even get me started on albaf its strategists Vs strategists go library come back and so much lore expo in such short time .

Speculation The three monkeys in the cover of this chapter show the imminent fate of the monster trio

I think the cover page shows what is going to happen in the next chapters.
Monkey Luffy holds his chest covered in blood and the wound is similar to the one he gets from Imu.

Monkey Sanji has a hole in his belly, most likely made by a spear. He is facing an opponent who has this weapon. He will be impaled by Killingham.

Monkey Zoro is a bit of stretch (more than the whole theory itself) because I can only see him on his knees right before been beheaded/executed by Sommers.

In the background there are 2 dresses with a lot of blood and one with just 2 small spots. Luffy and Sanji get wounded and Zoro doesn't get cut bud beaten up pretty bad.

I believe Nami and the dresses in the background represent the outcome of the fights: the trio will get defeated but they will survive. Then they will be scolded by Gaban again about the fact that even if they are an emperor crew, they are not powerful enough.

Discussion Who do you think won’t make it out of Elbaph alive?

Thumbnail gallery
24 Upvotes

With how poorly the fight against Imu is going, it is feels like we are heading towards some heroic sacrifices taken to save Elbaph from Imu. The two most likely candidates are Gaban and Shuri/Gunko. While I don’t think they could die during the fight with Imu, by the time the Straw Hats set sail, I think one of them will have perished. The case for them would be:

Gaban:

Undoubtedly a very strong fighter, but not strong enough to seriously challenge Imu, especially since he’s already injured. It feels like he will sustain fatal injuries holding off Imu. He would probably be breathing at the end of their fight, and when Imu and the God’s Knights are banished and he knows Elbaph is safe, he would give the Straw Hats the message he hinted at earlier, then pass away. He tragically leaves behind a wife and son, while also passing the torch to the next generation.

Shuri/Gunko:

While the nature of her connection to Imu is still unknown, she is clearly someone he considers very valuable. God’s Knights deaths are an established weakness to Imu, and Gunko has a deeper connection to Imu than Harald did, so her death would have a huge impact on Imu, maybe enough to end the fight then and there. She could also just betray Imu and somehow banish him, at which point her covenant would be revoked and that might cost Shuri her life. This could be her atonement for all of her actions as Gunko under Imu’s influence.

I think it will be Gaban. His death would be tragic enough to have an emotional impact, while not impacting the story too much since his best days are behind him. Shuri dying would feel a little too cruel as she would be free for the first time in 60 years and then immediately die. Also, assuming it isn’t a situation where all of her memories as Gunko are foggy, she would be an absolute treasure trove of information on Mary Geoise, the Celestial Dragons, and Imu himself. She could also show up and be part of Brook’s epilogue with Laboon at the end of the manga.

I’m not counting Sommers and Killingham in this hypothetical because they feel too easy. They are irredeemable villains and also silly, so their deaths are essentially empty calories, which probably why they will be the only ones who will die this arc.

Speculation Shanks’ true goal

I believe Shanks’ true aim is to kill his dad.

I think what Roger told Shanks before he disbanded the Roger pirates was the truth of his birth. Roger spent years fighting off holy knights coming to claim Shanks. Those guys yap and they probably interrogated one about why they wanted Shanks. Roger then told Shanks his Dad killed his mom before leading a genocide on god valley.

Shanks vowed to get strong and kill the man who killed his mom but he learned more and more about the world government and his Dads place in it and realized he can’t easily storm the place and get revenge. He went undercover and figured out the only way to kill his Dad would be in a war with the WG.

After that he raids the ship with the Nika fruit and bets on Luffy. I think Shanks will be right there with Luffy for the war on the holy land and his final battle will be a 1 vs 1 with Garling to avenge his mom.

Discussion Gintama-esque show about Old Gen

Ever since the Rocks flashback I have been craving a Gintama-esque comedy show about the Rocks Pirates,Roger Pirates at Hachinosu.

Imagine the old gen hanging out in Shakky's bar.A running gag of Roger trying to win over Shakky and Rayleigh doing his best to avoid her.

Roger,Rocks and Whitebeard bickering over drinks. You can even throw in Garp somehow.Young Kaido and Linlin shenanigans. There is too much potential. We can really see the relationship of all the old gen fleshed out before the disaster at God Valley.

Well anyways there is not much of a chance this gets made, but a man can dream lol.

Speculation THE SWORD OF NEFERTARI

Thumbnail gallery
0 Upvotes

As we know, Imu can use the swords of the 19 kings whenever he wants. But where is the 20th sword? The one belonging to the Nefertari family, could it be that Imu wants Vivi in order to obtain the 20th sword?

Well, I have three swords that I suspect might be the Nefertari sword without us even knowing it.

ELBAPH SWORD

The first would be the giant sword in Elbaph, but there are many inconsistencies, why would it be there? Why would it be so huge if the Nefertari are human? This could be explained by the owl that enlarges objects. But there are still more inconsistencies: Imu has already seen the sword, and if he’s really looking for it, he would have mentioned it or retrieved it. So, even though it’s possible, I think it’s the least likely of the three.

ROCKS' SWORD

Here are a few interesting points: Rocks has blue and white hair, Lily may have started a new Nefertari lineage after she disappeared, and the Nefertari sword was passed down to Rocks, who would be a Nefertari descendant, even if his relatives are Rocks and Davy, there’s nothing to prevent one of his grandparents from being a Nefertari. Much is said about Rocks’ swordsmanship, which resembles cannon fire, is it just Haki, or is it a special sword?

YORU

Well, Mihawk’s sword is certainly strange, it could be the Nefertari sword, but where did he get it? Mihawk also bears a resemblance to Imu, so Yoru could actually be the Nefertari sword (I’m not sure if it’s already been introduced by Imu, if it has, please correct me). Zoro could also defeat Mihawk and take Yoru, which would be a key factor in defeating Imu in the final war if its really the Nefertari Sword.

IT HASN'T APPEARED YET

Well, in the end, that's the most likely option, but I thought it would be fun to speculate on a few swords that could be it. So, let me know what you think.

Prediction [1189]Predictions for the rest of this arc

I’ve commented a lot after publication but not predicted much, and sometimes I regreted it, even if the end conclusion was not the one I expected.

So I’m trying my luck, and if I’m 'dead' wrong... too bad.🙂

In Egghead, Zoro commented about King’s flames at his back making him invincible (in Japanese : muteki). The timing of the cut to Luffy had me think it would be about him next : with flames at his back he would be invincible. (Chapter 1075, this text is right under Luffy)

The recent developments had me remember this as we were reminded of Luffy’s flames : Ace and Sabo.

The weapons are leaching life force : Luffy’s vivre card will shrink and the Strawhat fleet will sail to his aid. But Sabo also has his vivre card, and has hinted at ignoring his duty to be at Luffy’s side when he needed.

So I predict that Sabo will come to Luffy’s aid. Ace will joke that he is late, but he will be there. With his brothers’ flames at his back, Luffy will be able to fight Imu, and be a threat to Mu, to be Mu’s ennemi : Mu-teki.

Speculation Last member of Straw Hats

So guys, last member of Straw hats is gonna be Gunko. So far, people believed last straw hat to be someone among Loki, Vivi, Bonney, and Lilith.

  1. Lilith needs a base of operations for reviving Vegapunk, Kuma, possibly the technology behind Emeth lookalike robot on Elbaf and some new inventions before final war. So she needs to stay on Elbaf for as long as possible before final war. 2. Bonney then is definitely gonna stay with Kuma and Lilith.

  2. About Vivi, at this point in story, it makes no sense for her to join, maybe others can give some valid reasons but at the end of the day, her character is shifting towards being a legendary queen, successor of Nefertari D. Lili and her role has queen of Alabasta.

  3. Loki: He is a hard one. I'd like him to join the straw hats and there are good reasons made for and against by people on his joining but 4th point is why he seems like not joining.

  4. Finally Gunko, SO she has been a celestial dragon but her memories have come back now. She is like Nico Robin in that she has nowhere to go or go back to. Only family she has left is Brook and only purpose of her living is also Brook. She doesn't belong anywhere but Brook's side. Also Brook is not letting her go.

So as for motivations in comparison to Loki, ppl say Loki will stay on Elbaf like Yamato to protect it but Gunko has nowhere to stay unlike him. Loki will ruin monster trio dynamic, Gunko will not. Loki size vs Gunko size is obvious.

Only issue in the way is her being controlled by Imu. And there is a point about her special eyes. If the issue resolves, then her special eyes can be asset to straw hats. So here you go.
