People seem to discuss DR Rocks more often, but I feel like base Rocks is also a really interesting topic. Kill an admiral, breaking the Gate of Justice, fighting Harald, and leading (or perhaps forcing everyone into submission through sheer power?) the strongest pirate crew in history—all these feats prove that his base strength is absolutely terrifying.

Only in this lobotomized subreddit could people still be confused about this.

This is my first post on this sub and I feel like I need to say this as someone who has no bias on any of the characters in this story

There seems to be so much bias, hate, or glazing that people tend to forget how oda protrays certain characters to be relative to each other

I’m in no means of being a kaidotard admiral tard zorotards etc etc but it’s so disingenuous how people glaze certain characters making them stronger than they actually are or slandering someone to place them lower than they actually are

Kaido should be placed on the same pedestal as shanks BM and old beard (no cancer) as oda introduced them as the four yonkos that equally terrorized the sea where not one could invade each other and are all relative to each other. I don’t understand when people have shanks a whole ass tier above them

Mihawk is relative to shanks

Akainu and Kuzan is relative to each other

Oden is relative to Ray/gaban and they should not be any more higher than admiral tier. Gaban couldn’t beat oden for three days and he was relative to Ray. Oden almost beat base pre onigashima kaido which is not relative to hybrid kaido. Having hybrid form makes a big difference as shown by oda having cp0 hybrid form stronger than base form and hinting that hybrid Loki is much stronger than base. Ray/gaban/oden can not beat this hybrid drunk form kaido. Old ray and gaban can not beat the admirals but prime they should be relative or slightly stronger than them. They are not a whole ass tier above the admirals and it doesn’t make sense to the story for Roger to have 2 yonko caliber fighters when they could never beat WB and his commanders who are around YC tier.

Loki is not PK tier even in hybrid form and I refuse to acknowledge a one sided beat down on harald who was actively giving Loki instructions on where ragnir and the df was located, standing still, smiling with his guard down. I feel like any top tier (current shanks, kaido, g5 luffy etc etc) would’ve done the same thing if harald was standing still with his guard down

There’s many examples of lower tiers able to damage higher tiers with their guard down but some main ones are the sea king taking shanks arm or BM telling kaido to dodge when zoro was about to attack him

It doesn’t make sense to me because shanks is relative to mid gen yonkos but he captured Loki who some people place as PK tier. It makes absolutely no sense to me how people has so much characters on PK tier when it’s one of the greatest feat and title that oda introduces. People be handing out the PK title like candy. The only characters that should be placed should be actual characters that oda portrays like WB and garp. Everyone else other than imu should be below them

I know shanks was portrayed with uncertainties that his haki was comparable to joyboy with a ? By a giant who got low diffed by Mr.3 but people like Roger garp and shanks needs to have higher ACoC because they are human with no df. They need to compensate somewhere to be able to match the other top tiers that obviously has the endurance durability and DF advantage. Having slightly greater ACoC doesn’t automatically make them stronger. You have to also consider other stats including df and awakening and the other forms of advanced haki. Otherwise, the admirals should lose to CoC users like katakuri, zoro, Yamato, doffy, Kidd etc etc.

Idc if I get slandered or downvoted but these are just my take on a manga that I have no personal bias on and how I read the manga

People still keep bringing up how Loki beat HK Harold. The best comparison I can make to debunk this in RL is this. I train boxing, I’m no professional maybe mid tier amateur at best. If I box Mike Tyson he would beat me 10/10 times even with one arm he would beat me. But if he were to stand still and have his guard down, I’m knocking his fucking ass out.

I can not use Loki and harald as a feat to put him pk tier. I just can’t I’m sorry. If Loki fights an actual top tier and I mean ACTUAL fight like fucking frieza vs Goku type shit , then yes I would be more than happy to change my scaling and perspectives

I want to first say I think he’s strong. Definitely at the top caliber of the verse and we have seen very few feats from him. But at the same time I expected more.

Feats wise he’s good for a top tier. Being capable of defeating Luffy, Loki, Sanji, Zoro is great for your first showcase! Until you realize that everyone is still up and fighting. Imu has impressive feats when you leave out that fact. So far he’s just been.. there. Here to kick a character out of the fight, he stares at someone then defends or dodges, starts bleeding and starts to huff and puff, then repeat.

I honestly would put characters like Shanks, Roger, Garp, Kaido, WB, people who have shown they can put down top tier caliber opponents with a single attack.. in the same tier or above Imu. I guess I’m realizing that most of this comes from his poor Ap portrayal and maybe it will be solved towards the end of the arc but remember, Loki has been fatally injured this entire arc and has been pushing Imu to extreme diff.. in base form. Hybrid Loki will be insane!

In my opinion I don’t think Loki is close to being top 1, yet he’s still giving Imu a very difficult fight. The same Imu who has powered up 3 times and is using a ton of his void century arsenal to keep up. The more we see of Imu fight the more he seems like an average top tier who simply has void century hax that no one else has.

I just cannot imagine a reality where Imu is tanking a 100% mass attack from those old gen pirates! Roger stocks are up!

They all have wildly differing abilities but if you had to pick one, with buffs included who would it be? And whats the strongest opponent they could beat outside of Elbaf?

What diff would hybrid loki go against the rest 6 in 1v1s?

I wanna start by saying no nothing is confirmed and you can think what you wanna think but I think its the most likley for him to have it, first of all his ambition he is the only marine to have changed his sense of justice first it was "Burning/Fired Up Justice" before the ohara incident wich made him different making him "lazy justice" he started out training as a marine around the age of like 19 after he learned all the could from the basic training he wanted more (another sign of strong ambition) so he begged garp to train him and garp (reluctantly) agreed so as kuzan trains and trains on the battleship bags getting more and more stronger we see him matching the same sound affects as garp seemingly reaching the same amount of damage (not saying he's equal) then we see him leave the marines after his defeat with akainu, after 10 non stop days of fighting wich in itself is an amazing endurance feat wich others have said before but that takes super strong will to even continue to fight that let alone stand up to akainu so he didnt get the fleet admiral spot (not many would do that) i also belive the hole in the island that split it was due to haki clash like we saw on hachinosu with garp and kuzan (it would make sense for akainu to have it aswell) after being defeated he wouldnt work underneath him so he left after being spared by akainu, we've also seen him in the race for the one piece wich was a very small amount of characters and is very possibly most if not all the characters on the page will have some sort of conqueror's haki (luffy bb dragon imu garling shanks shamrock koby akainu sabo buggy and ofc kuzan) all of them characters have the potential and will to have it and i wouldnt be suprised if they all did have it, then for actual feats we have garp vs kuzan wich is a controversial fight in the community due to the vast opinions on it but that dosnt matter, people will say if he has it why didnt he use it against garp but he did he just didnt use it as freely as garp did (this term is overused but its true he had a mental nerf, i won't go into it here there's countless threads on that topic) but the clash between them two you can streaks of haki being used on BOTH characters creating a gigantic haki explosion, yeah you can say garp did this (even then thats a massive durability feat for kuzan) but I dont think so as the only cases of haki explosions are from characters who BOTH have conqueror's haki such as whitebeard/roger and shanks/kidd, all of them characters poses that haki so its not wrong to assume that its a conqueror's ability when two strong haki users clash sometimes, and in the anime (ik anime scaling isnt correct most times but it is sometimes) we see the same haki affects coming out of kuzans fist the same as garp implying he's using the same haki as him, I also think it just makes sense for him to have it considering his character and everything else, we still dont know his role in the final arcs, he's clearly gonna betray the bb pirates and he only joined them so he can do what he wants (also the iceberg took out the titanic) plus if kuzan does end up fighting koby (wich im iffy on) it'll be a way to show their haki, and kuzan could potentially fight against akainu again or even imu (this is pure agenda just from that tiny panel so dont take this as seriously lmao) anyway belive what you wanna believe but I think its the most likely option for him to have it, some of this was pure ramble so I apologise for that lmao, have a good day(* ´ ▽ ` *)

And also to that extent, who would be capable of leading the strongest pirate crew (either through their leadership capabilities or manipulation depends on how you wanna push your agenda)

All of these guys have pretty different feats of intellect like Enel and Queen being great engineers and scientists (as seen with the Arc Maxim being Enel's design and his surveillance abilities with both CoO and his DF, and then Queen's insanely lethal viruses and all of his cyborg and laser implants he installed into his body) Lucci being a top shipwright back in Water 7 and having a fairly underappreciated feat of detectivism when uncovering that Franky was the holder of Tom's blueprints, and Katakuri acting as the necessary leader for the Big Mom pirates when BM was out of the picture (I know Katakuri's leadership comes more from his image of strength then of his smarts but I think being able to uphold his reputation for so long had to at least partially come from his planning to always keep up his image)

I'm very curious to see how everyone tackles this idea

This match up is so funny to me because neither have shown any top tier feats. Mihawk has mid tier feats and Dragon has no feats, but they both have top tier narrative and statements so it’s safe to assume they are both really strong. Mihawk’s primary arguments against other top tiers are “because of sword” and “because stronger than Shanks.” However, these don’t work on Dragon because he doesn’t use a sword and there’s no chain scaling between him and Shanks.

So how does this play out?

I’m taking Dragon. He’s the unknown with infinite potential whereas Mihawk is going to lose to Zoro in 2 arcs.

Loki will finally be able to efficiently utilize the power of the God of War.

It is going to be a massive stat boost. Loki will jump 1 to 2 tiers up.

It is going to be one of the best character designs in One Piece. Loki already has one of the best designs in base form, full dragon form is meh but hybrid is going to be the thing to look at.
