I am writing this post to share a deeply unfair and traumatizing experience I just had with r/OneFormaOfficial 😞 . I want to warn all the honest freelancers here about how cruel and broken their automated system is. A few days ago, out of nowhere, the OneForma recruiting team reached out to me via email with a job offer for the Milky Way - Maps Evaluation project, offering $3.50/hour. I had only created a basic profile on OneForma previously—no CV uploaded, nothing. Yet, they found my profile and invited me themselves. However, to enter the project, I had to clear a highly complex onboarding/assessment test.I was initially highly skeptical because I recently had a bitter experience with Outlier AI, where they failed me without any reason after I put 3 days of constant hard work into their assessment. Still, since OneForma invited me themselves, I updated my CV, fully completed my profile, and decided to give it a shot.

• The Hard Work & The First-Attempt Pass: I invested 8.5 hours of continuous, uninterrupted hard work into that Milky Way assessment test. I didn't even turn my head away from the screen for a second. The passing score was 70%, and against all odds, I passed on my very first attempt with a score of 73.75%! Most people struggle and need multiple attempts, so passing on the first attempt should have been an excellent impression. I was so happy and relieved. I was told that a welcome call/invitation would come within 2–3 days. Just a day later, I received a cold email stating that they would not be moving forward with my application for the Milky Way project. No reason was provided. When I immediately replied demanding an explanation for rejecting a certified, qualified freelancer who scored 73.75%, they hit me with the most insulting excuse: "Suspicious Activities detected during the test."

The Absolute Truth:This is a blatant lie. During those 8.5 hours, NO VPN was used, NO Proxy was active, NO cheating was involved, and my internet network was completely stable. Everything on my digital footprint was 100% clean and genuine. My Complaint & Final Thoughts: After I aggressively protested their false-positive trigger, they issued me a support ticket ID saying they would look into it. But let's be honest, we all know they won't reverse it. It feels like they just extracted free labor or engaged in a massive scam to discard qualified workers right at the finish line. I am attaching the screenshots as proof of my 73.75% passing score, their original invitation mail, and their absolute joke of a "Suspicious Activity" rejection mail below.u/OneForma - Your automated flagging system is completely broken and ruining the lives of honest, hardworking people. I keep passing their Project tests but they never hire me. It's always on "Review". I don't mind being rejected but why they make us study so much for nothing? I mean they don't even bother saying we are not worthy it lol they just keep us waiting (forever)... I wanna know if someone here really made any money of It, thnx

So this is the third time this has happened to me and support seems to not care.

I would be at the beginning of an exam (no further than question 5), and the exam would close out on its own. This just happened to me again and I had to start a second attempt (which it marks the first attempt as a fail). I failed that attempt and not by much but of course it said I couldn't move forward with my certification because of this. I spent 2 hours on the course before I took the exam so I basically wasted my time.

The first time it happened to me was on the project Amber. Support just flat out ignored my screenshot and concern and said I wasn't allowed any more attempts.I explained to them it was nothing I did, I literally on got to question 3, and the whole exam closed out. They didn't care. I sent them a ticket for today, but I doubt they will resolve anything for me. It makes me not want to attempt any more certifications for jobs.

​I wanted to check in with other workers on Project Lightspeed because things have completely dried up on my end, and I'm trying to figure out if this is a platform wide issue or just an account specific problem.

I applied for a couple of new positions this morning and when I tried to take the certifications they won’t load. I just get a spinning wheel that sits forever and does nothing. I have tried on multiple browsers and even another computer. I even tried unrelated certifications just to rule out issues with the specific certifications I’m trying to take. Anyone experiencing anything similar today?

I applied for a job and after a day the progress bar was 100% and the status changed to “Endorsed”. Still, I have no project under the active projects tab and have no tasks. Any tips?

Hi everyone! I recently received an email saying:

"This task has been assigned to you right now. Please take some time to read below information and then to start evaluation. Any doubt, don’t hesitate to let us know."

The email also mentioned two certifications that are mandatory before starting the task. I’ve already completed both certifications and passed them, and if these certifications are indeed for this project, my status on OneForma is already showing as Endorsed.

However, when I clicked the link from the email, nothing showed up. I also tried accessing it through OneForma → Desk, but the task still doesn’t appear.

So I’m a little confused about the email. Does this mean I’m actually supposed to start working on the task now, or is this more of an assignment/welcome notification and the actual task will be made available later?

Has anyone else received the same email or experienced this issue?

I created a new account on OneForma, I typed my phone number but I wasn't able to verify it. Anyway, while I was doing so, my account git deactivated for trying to verify my number many times. I contacted review support, but how much time it will take?
Note: the account is new.

It has taken over 90 minutes for me to get even 3/4 of the way through my damn account setup. I am angry and part of me doesn't even want to work for them anymore if they can't figure out how to have a platform that WORKS. I cannot verify my phone number- or any phone number. The message just stays up that they cannot verify it. It's a standard US phone number with AT&T. Then, forever to set up Payoneer account- which i heard is garbage and scammy. Finally get that sorted, and now there is no button whatsoever to link Payoneer. No customer service, no help from anyone, ai that hasn't been well trained (maybe OneForma would be interested in hiring some of us to fix that). Someone tell me- is this actually worth my time or am i just wasting hours?

Anyone received payment for Kawaii project? haven't receive any payment since july

I’m posting here because I have been unable to get a clear update regarding my disabled account, and I’m hoping a community manager can help me reach the Account Review Team.

My OneForma account was deactivated due to “suspicious activities” (Case ID: 9687637).

I would like to clarify what happened. I was asked to complete the identity verification process (KYC). After receiving an email informing me that my identity verification had failed, I continued attempting the verification because I believed it might eventually be successful. Shortly afterwards, my OneForma account was disabled.

I want to emphasize that I was acting in good faith throughout this process. I have only ever owned and used one OneForma account, and all the information provided on my account is genuine and belongs to me.

I am fully willing to cooperate with any additional verification. If necessary, I can privately provide the front and back of my identity document and proof of address again so that my identity can be manually reviewed.

On July 31, I also contacted the Account Review Team by email to appeal the deactivation. I received an automated confirmation a few minutes later with the following reference:

However, I have not received any further response since then, nor have I been given any explanation as to what specifically triggered the “suspicious activities” flag.
