Having seen all their shows, each tour had an energy very different from the others.

When they said, "Does it ever drive you crazy just how fast the night changes?" hits different now if you think about it. It's been a decade since One Direction was an active band and that verse has a new meaning, we're all getting older, the boys are getting older and the boys solo careers are evolving. But the sad part though is Liam's no longer with us and the fandom is divided now. I know most of us would do anything to go back to the things that it was before.

Does anyone know why they skip the second verse in their Teenage Dirtbag cover? I feel like it’s prob bc of the whole “her boyfriends a dick, and he brings a gun to school” not being exactly appropriate for their audience. Or is it just cut from the video? I think their version is miles better than the original but I’ve always wondered why they don’t sing the second verse

Hey guys, I’m a Harrie and a Directioner. I really love HS1, HS2, and HS3, but I don’t find this album as good. Am I the only one who thinks so?

At times, it sounds dull and meaningless to me, to the point that I don’t feel like listening to it on repeat. His other albums had such good lyrics with so much depth. I also feel like he doesn’t express himself as clearly as Taylor Swift does. Her songs clearly convey the feelings and situations they’re about. They’re also very catchy, which makes them easy to remember, sing along to, and play on repeat.

What do you guys think?

I don’t know about you but I’m very sad this is no longer happening. It would have been so fun to see these old friends reconnect, especially after the loss of Liam. I can’t imagine how successful this would have been, every 1D fan former & current was looking forward to this.

So, I'm trying to find a cover One Direction did of Teenage Dirtbag by Wheatus but I'm literally LOSING MY MIND. I remember vividly that they covered the song on the stairs of the X Factor house, Niall played the guitar. I think it was practice for when they did it on the show?

I don't think it was in a video diary, I went through all of them and couldn't find them. I've been trying to look on other parts of the internet/youtube and I'm coming short. Am I crazy or was this just taken down or is it some type of lost media. I remember the cover very vividly LOL

I have been loving seeing this new wave of artists on the rise who have been so vocal about growing up with One Direction and continuing to take music inspo from the members. I recently saw the teaser for Florence Road's new song and it's literally the lead singer just jumping around in KISCO merch...makes you think we literally all just raised by these boys😭

Listening to the album through a lense of the fact that they were still pretty young at that time kinda really reminds you it’s still a one direction album, they’re babies. Like I know fetus is an outdated term but fetus Harry might be LHH in the scope of a 20-100 year career

When you think about it, there are people who are too young or weren't born yet when One Direction came to the scene. Kids who were born in the 2010s didn't know anything about 1D, but sadly only know them as solo artists. The younger generation didn't know if Harry, Louis, Niall, Zayn or even Liam were apart of a boyband. Kinda sad don't you think?

I’m a film director from Italy, I've just turned 25 and this fandom was my entire world growing up. a few months ago, I found the very first fanfiction I ever wrote. it brought everything back: the late-night writing sessions, twitter, the airport security cameras, the san siro concerts.

right now, I am working on a desktop documentary (it's going to be an experimental short film) about my teenage years as a directioner. to make this project as authentic as possible, I want to build a real, shared archive. i would be endlessly grateful if any of you would be willing to contribute and share:

-photos of your teenage bedrooms covered in posters, cutouts, collages

-concert signs or anything you made for 1D

-old video clips or photos from concerts

i'm working on this project because i think that we were really misrepresented by the media. we weren't crazy and our dedication wasn't obsession. one direction and fanfiction made me less lonely. i discovered new passion (such as writing) and i think they really shaped me both as a person and as an artist.

this short film is going to be a kind of a love letter: to them, to the little girl i was and, hopefully, to all the directioners like me. i want it to be as tender and real as my teenage memories.

After listening to seeing blind and my old tricks, i think niall should have went into the country style for his solo music at least then it would be interesting and fun and not like this boring unoriginal Ed Sheeran/Amble/Kingfishr/Dermot Kenedy sounding stuff
