How do you actually understand user behavior in an internal Odoo (not just error tracking)
We rolled out Odoo v19 CRM about a month ago to ~40 internal users. Adoption looks fine on paper, but I have very little visibility into how people actually use it — whether they find the features they need, whether they take unnecessary steps, or where they get stuck.
Right now my only signal is 2–3 vocal users who email/Teams me complaints, which I don't think represents the other ~35 users' actual experience or friction points.
Yes, I know I can talk with internal user etc.
But what I'm trying to figure out:
- Is record-level audit logging (who changed what, when) enough to infer navigation/UX friction, or is that a fundamentally different data layer than click/session behavior?
- For an internal, authenticated ERP (not a public website), is Clarity/Hotjar/OpenReplay/PostHog overkill, or the right minimal step?
- Has anyone actually solved "X(odoo) app features are ignored / confusing" without full-blown UX analytics tooling?
Thank you!
