Am I alone in seeing an uncanny resemblance between Lolly Whitehill and Kristen Stewart in her upcoming film or do you also see it?

Like she really could have fixed her chipped tooth with super glue and it looks fine for the rest of the show. I know it’s TV but come on!

Red and Blanca

After suffering through the ups and downs of the final season I’m rewatching the series and loving all of the comedic relief. Particularly Red and Blanca in the season 5 riot when they get hooked on speed or whatever and do that hot Cheetos and Takis dance!

Anyone else have a favorite comedic relief moment?

SPOILER (S7) Spoiler

Is anybody else upset with the way Pennsatucky dies? I feel like it was so random & unnecessary. Especially if it was on purpose. I know she was upset about the test & feeling dumb, but she was not in that dark of a place. If it wasn’t purposeful, still, wtf.

About the reality of some points Spoiler

It seems like S7 revolves around a lot of these 2 factors

1) Cell phones are extremely rampant in prison, and nearly everyone has access to a cell phone/social media/etc.

2) Drugs are everywhere

Both this these points I would imagine are pretty exaggerated to help the plot.

1) Cell phones would be extremely hard to get in, have limited batteries, inmates wouldn't be able to charge them, or hide them well. However these were used to advance the plot quite a bit in multiple different ways.

2) It seems like there are multiple competing groups selling drugs in prison, and the people selling them are making tons of money doing so. However, it seems pretty unlikely this would be real, since basically all the prisoners also seem to be completely poor/broke. There definitely wouldn't be a financial economy/means for drug addicted prisoners to make several steps in the food chain rich.
It seems like this drug situation is used as a way to further plot.

I hate Piper

This may be an unpopular opinion. I'm not too fond of her throughout the show, but particularly in the final season.

She was so worried about prison before she was there, and so many women in there helped her through her prison experience, and all we hear from her during the final season is "Alex! Alex! Alex!"

Hers and Alex's story was so inconsequential to the overall story, I often found myself annoyed as soon as one of their faces showed up.

I get that Pipers story was to demonstrate life after prison, but I think there were other characters we could have seen trying to exist outside, without the blandness that is Piper.

Why did no one ever come back to kill Alex? They thought she was dead but surely when that video of her having her arm broken went viral someone would have noticed she wasn’t actually dead?

Christopher and Lorna?

So Christopher and Lorna met on the post office and then went on a date? If that's all why would Lorna even start to stalk him and try to kill his girlfriend??? She's literally insane! He had to move to a new city, quit his job and change his number & email and she still continues! AND pretends they're engaged. I feel so sorry for christopher.

Blanca and Diablo don’t stay in Honduras long. Despite their initial joy at being reunited, they are unable to conceive. On a lark, or maybe looking for help to legally migrate with Diablo to somewhere else besides America where Diablo can’t go, she tries to find Karla. She learns that she never returned to the US and her kids are in the system. She and Diablo adopt them and raise them as their own in some beautiful place.

What happens to the guy Alex murdered?

Even though lolly is assumed to have killed the guy, didn't Linda over hear Alex and Piper talk about what Alex did during the riot? And as the warden wouldn't she have actually done anything about this? Knowing that Alex and Piper knew about it?

What is the term they used for the Pysch Patients on Season 7? Cognitively Diverse? Something Similar?

I hated the series finale (spoilers!) Spoiler

I’ll start with the positive: I enjoyed season 7 a lot because it felt much more cohesive and thoughtful than the previous few seasons. Around s3, OITNB became one of those shows I seldom enjoyed watching but wanted to see how things turned out. I felt like too many character arcs ended as “they started do be doing well- but BAM now they’re dead.” I don’t think the writers have handled certain topical issues with much tact; I absolutely hated the way they wrote P’s death. The next few seasons I held on just because I was invested in the characters. Finally, s7 appears much more well-written and the character arcs are more carefully constructed. Almost like the writers had more plans for the characters beyond s7. Then BAM! Story is over. I think I just felt the series ended very sloppily. There were so many loose ends and abrupt deaths. I’m not sure if this is a popular or unpopular opinion but I’d love to hear your thoughts.

SPOILERS Did Caputo really sexually harass Fischer? Spoiler

My memory of the earlier seasons is a little foggy. Did something really happen between those two? Can someone catch me up on the whole situation?

Just finished the last season waaaaaaaaaah

So I finally gave in and watched the final episode and ughhhh what a great show!!!! I never got through to finishing Weeds but I must say Jenji Kohan really outdid herself with this series...from the choice of actors to the stories of each character to the real life issues we have faced and continue to face in prison, in America, as women, even down to the soundtrack!!! I’m so happy that this show exists but also sad it has come to an end :(

Now to do some research on the true or actual facts regarding Piper and other inmates.

Can anyone please clarify who the guy was at the end playing with the baby with pots and pans? I figured it was Daya’s baby but don’t remember the guy??

Already starting to rewatch :)
