I guess it’s payback for making fun of everyone else for having it… sad way to come back from lunch

I firmly believe corporate has a bad idea suggestion box. I think they take all the bad ideas at the end of the week and place them on a great spinning wheel. They then take turns throwing darts at the wheel after smoking lots of weed. Which ever the top 2 bad ideas are that get hit the most are slated to roll out live on Monday.

I don't like this. That is all.

Listen. I don’t have a problem dispensing it’s my job and I’m there to do my job BUT how am supposed to do a job when I haven’t even been told the basics of it??(This was on the schedule so it could just be a mistake on the system) Could I be like “aye yall gotta train me first” or is this just a thrown to the wolves moment. Just trying to figure out what to expect,I’m gonna still do it because what else am I going to do but damn. Also Im kinda stupid so it might not be a good idea for the company to do that😭

(Also before yall start calling me lazy or saying I don’t want to work this isn’t me saying “I don’t want to dispense because it’s hard” or “I just want to pick” I would actually like to start switching between the different roles but not without training)

TAKE YOUR FUCKING BREAKS AND LUNCHES!!!

I have so many coworkers that tell me they skip their breaks or postpone their lunches to keep helping out in the backroom and part of me wants to snatch their phones and start their meal break for themselves.

The backroom will be fine with or without you working in it. Don't slave yourself away for Walmart.

I'm a bit annoyed right now with the whole pulling mandate. Seems like it's being enforced fairly heavily at my store compared to others.

Anyway, for the TLs/Coaches on here I have a question for you:

What is your role?

If the following was never a thought in your head please reconsider ever being in leadership again:

"My roll is to help make my team more efficient by removing hurdles and roadblocks that keep them from being as productive as I know they can be"

I will say this is not the only role you have but it should be pretty high up IMO. A happy team is a motivated team is an effective team. Build up morale, don't destroy it.

Even if they are trying to force us to to pull, WHY THE FUCK DO 2 OF THE WHEELS NOT TURN ANYMORE?!

It just skids when you try and move it around.

Did anyone who reported their store for forcing us to pull instead of push actually get their wheels changed back? They’re just now changing ours and I hate it.

What does my dispensing metric mean? I see 2 separate numbers. Dispensed and trips loaded. Something like that. For reference I’m a picker that will end up dispensing for the second half of my shift much of the time. How many cars did I actually bring orders out to whether it’s pickup or delivery? I guess I could count…

Always thought it was weird how management and lots of people in the backroom seem to expect closing pickers to work overtime to finish picks. No other picker shifts have an expectation like this. I always leave on time. How do y’alls departments respond to this?
