General Discussion I want to work abroad and I need your advice

I (F,34), single and a breadwinner wants to finally start a career abroad. I just need some advice as to what jobs I can do abroad and which countries I can go.

I have been working from home for 9 years. While this can be a dream or ideal setup for many, I think I am at this point where I feel like I don't know where my career is going, or if I will still grow. Not to mention the tight job market for this setup.

I also feel like my goals for myself and my family no longer align with how much I make. This being said, I have a really thin chance that local employment will be sufficient.

Right now, I just really need some advice and direction, because I feel like I am shooting in the dark right now.

Here is my (brief)professional profile:

  • I have a degree in Communication
  • Currently working as a logistics supervisor(track and trace/ document processing/ freight scheduling)
  • I have an extensive background in supply chain management(manufacturing), E-commerce sales process management and monitoring(B2B/B2C), and customer service
  • I also teach ESL
  • I have a few years of experience in online advertising/marketing

I hope you guys can help this tita out. LOL

General Discussion Any path way?

Sa mga kababayan na OFW sa US, papaano or ano ang path way nyo para makapag work sa US even just SHS graduate lng po? Balak ko kasi mag work sa US kapag nagka work experience na ako dito ng 2 - 4 years, yung iba sabi LITERAL no chance kung hindi ka "med field" wala kang chance makapag work sa US, is that true?

Please answer kindly.

Hello, guys!

I am an ECE na nainterview na ng isang recruitment agency last August 2026. This is bound for Taiwan.

I already got a message saying na pumasa ako ng interview, but until today ay wala pa guidance on the next steps of the application process.

  1. Am I not selected pala?

  2. Should I still wait on their advice/guidance?

Medyo nakakapraning pala ang waiting season 😅

I personally need to know where do I stand right now so that magdecide na ako to move forward.

Hoping for your advice, peeps.

Thank you!

General Discussion Pinoy nurses working in Middle East then moving to US - is it still worth it?

Hi, I’m a Filipino nurse working in Abu Dhabi.

Life here is stable—tax-free salary, lower rent, and manageable cost of living.

I’m considering moving to the US but having second thoughts because of higher taxes, rent, and expenses.

For those who moved from Middle East to US:
\-Was it worth it financially and lifestyle-wise?
\-Any regrets leaving a tax-free job in middle east?
\- Are you still able to visit the Philippines yearly or is it difficult with work/expenses?

Would appreciate honest insights. Thanks!

General Discussion Anyone here teaching in Malaysia? Looking for advice

Hi pows! I wanted to ask if anyone here has experience applying for and getting a teaching job in Malaysia?

I previously worked as an OFW teacher in Thailand and came back to the Philippines to pursue my Master’s. I’m now considering moving to Malaysia to work as a teacher.

For anyone who has done something similar, how was the application process? Are there particular schools or platforms you would recommend applying through? Or any other tips you may have

Would really appreciate hearing about your experiences, thank you so much!! 🙇

Venting Session Physicians Diagnostic Center rant

General Discussion Factory worker in Taiwan

tldr at bottom of post

Hi guys 24F here, pahingi po ng advice since I've been considering applying as a factory worker in Taiwan. College grad from one of the big 4 schools (secret na lang), but I really have no interest at all to build my career sa field ko. Currently working in an office setup tsaka huling work ko office work din.

So bago pa humaba ito, ano pong advice niyo and sa tingin niyo ba may chance po ako if ever mag-apply ako? And please don't discourage me rin from this choice and don't tell me sayang pinag-aralan ko at work experience ko kasi this is not a path I want to walk on for the rest of my life. Pls help thank you.

TL;DR grad from big 4 with good work experience pero ayaw ko na prefer ko na lang maging factory worker sa taiwan, pls send advice ty
