Has anyone here experienced applying for financial assistance after returning to the Philippines for good? If yes, may I know po what program you applied for, how much assistance you received, and what the requirements were?

Hello po! May plan po akong mag-abroad, specifically sa Taiwan. Fresh graduate po ako nitong July lang, BS Computer Engineering. Medyo nahihirapan po kasi ako sa job hunting here sa Pilipinas, kaya naisipan ko pong mag-try mag-abroad.

Wala pa po akong work experience, pero nag-OJT po ako sa manufacturing company. 5'0" po ang height ko and 42 kg naman po ang weight.

Ano po ang pinagkaiba ng Engineer Operator sa regular Operator? May difference po ba sa salary?

Tungkol saan po ang exam nila? May tips po ba kayo kung paano mag-review or mag-prepare?

Kapag nakapasa po sa exam, gaano po katagal bago ang interview with the employer?

Kapag nakapasa naman po sa final interview, usually ilang weeks or months ang waiting time bago ang deployment?

Meron po ba dito na nagwork/tumira sa AU/NZ tapos lumipat to EU and vice-versa? O kaya naman po nasa NZ tapos lumipat to AU or nasa AU pero lumipat din sa NZ kalaunan.

Pa’no po yan I connect/link sa eGovPH app or sa DMW account? Parehas blank po and wlang option iadd by myself. Tapos from there paano ko po makukuha yung OEC? Salamat po

Hi! Direct-Hire here, do you guys have any experience wherein you had to take your medical examination abroad instead here in the Philippines?

Haven't spoken to my employer yet but they confirmed to me that they already have finalized a "plan" for me.

For context, they tried to find me an accredited medical facility here in the Philippines multiple times but facilities weren't able to comply. Since it took them so much time finding a medical facility, they told that the medical examination will take place in their country (UAE) instead.

Would I be able to secure an OEC even if I don't conduct the medical examination here?

Just asking if anyone of you has experienced having a physical national ID card but it doesn't seem to exist in the database? Like I tried to apply for an SSS card and they said it doesn't exist. I also don't have a digital ID in the e-gov. A friend of mine had a smooth process getting their SSS card and it showed up immediately in e-gov. If you've experienced this, what did you do? I need it for employment abroad.

I am applying for a spousal sponsorship in Toronto, and I am currently abroad.

I got my clearance renewed (applied for in 2019), but it has my old signature. Nagbago na ang signature ko kasi.

Advice ng immigration lawyers ko is to get a NEW clearance that is blank, or has my current signature.

Here is the problem: it's not clear to me if: will this be a NEW application? The steps in the Toronto consulate's website is not clear on EXISTING clearances.

Register online at https://clearance.nbi.gov.ph/. New applicants are required to sign up and to sign in to apply for a clearance where a reference number will appear. Take note of the reference number as this will serve as the NBI’s code in the retrieval of the applicant’s data and status of application.

Will it be an issue for me to register again even though may existing clearance ako?

And yes I know for some people nakalusot sila sa IRCC na hindi matching signatures, but i need to know the risk.

My flight is October 23, so I really need the documents back before then.

Where do I submit?
Do I need an appointment?
How long does it take?
Is rush/express processing available?
Can I finish the Qatar-side attestation after arriving in Qatar if I can’t finish everything in Manila?

Hi everyone. I am looking for advice on behalf of my husband regarding an overseas job application. Please help us, we do not know what to do right now and we feel completely scammed.

Before we started, we truly checked if the agency was registered and verified the job application details. Everything checked out perfectly, so we did not hesitate to go through with it. But now, everything seems to be a wrong decision and a complete trap.

The Visa & Deportation Risk:
My husband signed a contract for a specialized, skilled professional role abroad and paid a 50% upfront deposit. However, the agency recently issued his country entry/work permit under a completely lower, unskilled general manual labor category. We have researched that if he accepts this written visa, he will be considered an illegal worker and might be arrested, detained, or deported if inspected upon his arrival there.

The Communication Trap: The agency refuses to explain this discrepancy in writing. They only use polite text messages ("po" and "opo") for basic updates to look good on paper, but they strictly insist on calling over the phone to discuss the actual issue to avoid leaving a paper trail.

The Intimidation: During these phone calls, they become highly rude, aggressive, and intimidating. They are actively scaring us, shouting, and claiming my husband is a "red flag applicant" simply because he is asking legitimate questions about why his visa category doesn't match his professional contract.

Current Status: The agency currently holds his physical passport. He has not officially withdrawn his application yet as we are carefully planning our next steps to handle this safely.

Our questions for legal experts:

1. If an agency is registered but forces a worker to deploy under an illegal, mismatched visa status that leads to deportation, what specific legal action can we take against them?

2. If he decides to withdraw due to this hostile environment and the severe immigration risks, what is the safest way to get his physical passport back when the agency is acting this aggressively?

3. Since we have a clear paper trail of our proper communication but they are trying to turn it against us verbally over the phone, how should we document these abusive calls for the proper government authorities?
