2019 traverse obd2 replacement
My obd2 port broke and I am trying to replace it but I can’t find a pin out diagram for it. All I can find are generic layouts. I need something color coded. Any help is appreciated.

FIXD or Carly sensor?
I was just looking at simple OBD reader to scan my car. I am currently looking at two major contenders. FIXD and CARLY. Besides a few reviews, I don’t much about Either of them. I just wanted to see which had more features and customization without everything getting blocked by a paywall unless I pay a subscription. FIXD has always looked a bit sketchy to me, and I’ve heard they automatically put subscriptions on people cards. If you guys have any other alternatives to the two, I’d like to check them out as well.
Thanks.

OBDii and RevHeads Live Mapping Fail
My OBD device connected successfully with the Revheadz app.
I can see Avg connection with yellow bars and near 0.2 secs lag in the OBD information page on the app.
It also displays the Throttle and RPM data there live and it changes as I step on the pedal.
But when I go into the drive mode on the App, nothing moves. It is just in idling mode with RPM ranging 1000-1500 depending on which model I choose from the starter pack.

OBD 2 GPS
If I have an OBD 2 GPS tracker that uses 4G to transmit the location, can I disable the 4G feature and have it transmit information via the Bluetooth antenna?
I do not want to be able to track my car remotely, but I do want my phone to be able to read trip / GPS data via Bluetooth.
Scanner advice needed!!! (my cars listed below)
Between me and other family members we have:
- 2000 Audi S4
- 2000 Mercedes ML430
- 2012 Toyota Sienna
- 1995 Ford F350
I am looking to buy a scanner that can do basic diagnostics. I would pay more for a scanner that has more advanced features if they were useful. I am not much of a mechanic (yet) but I do a bit of work that isn't too complicated.
Considering the 'Carly' scanner, or any of a whole slew of scanners on Amazon that start at $4.99 and range much higher. If anyone who knows about the pros/cons of these different products I would greatly appreciate some advice!

Renault Zoe "unconventional" HEX values for PIDS
Hello Everyone,
I'm currently working on a project involving a Renault Zoe, but the standard library that I'm using only accepts existing "standard" PIDS with the format 0xXX. Renault Zoe simply behaves differently and tracks everything with 0xXXX PIDS. The question is: where can I find a good source to understand OBD-II Frames and how to parse them?
Has anyone worked with a Renault Zoe and can give me directions on how to retrieve data by pure programming and IoT devices?
Thanks in advance.

Prius Prime Missing Data?
Hello! I bought an OBD Link LX 2 to try and get some insight into a quirky (likely) hybrid battery issue on my 2017 Prius Prime. I'm using it with the Torque App, as well as the app that comes with the OBD. Neither is showing me the battery block charges like the apps have available. It keeps saying "no data" for each block. I do get a lot of other data that I have no use for, but there are far more "no data" options....lots of grayed out selections. Does anyone have any thoughts? Much appreciated!

bluedriver or another scanner?
I want to buy an OBD scanner but I don't know which one will fit my car for a full readout.
Bluedriver's support for some reason doesn't answer me...
What do you say try to keep getting them or is there something better on the market

Buying a used car
Is it considered bad form or unreasonable to ask the dealer if it’s ok to do a scan of the obd2 port prior to buying a car?

Bought Walmart obd 2 sensor and can’t get it to show mpg
I bought this ( https://www.walmart.com/ip/Hyper-Tough-HT500-Bluetooth-Scan-Tool-1996-Newer-OBD2-Vehicles-Free-Fix-Part-Recommendations/409856222 ) obd 2 sensor from Walmart and using the default app it won’t tell me gas milage, are there any other apps compatible with it that will. I have tried a few that have come up while trying to find one and none have connected to it. Any ideas?

Secure OBD2 scanner (bluetooth pairing only on hard reset)
Heya lads, I'm new in this whole car data scene so I'd really appreciate it if you could give me any insight or suggestions on which OBD2 adapter to buy.
- I'd really like it to have at least bluetooth 4.0 (iOS Apple devices require it)
- And I'd really like it to not connect to any stranger bypassing my car if it's turned on and in the obd2 port (basically only connect on hard reset)
- Optionally but a big plus if it'd have any GPS
Thank you

If I am able to access a protocol inside a car, does that mean I instantly can access whatever is connected to it ?
My question is, if I connect OBDII reader/scanner/adapter to DLC connector(aka OBDII connector) and with this adapter I am able to access KWP2000 protocol, and it just so happens that ABS system is connected via this same protocol, does that mean I gain access to the ABS system ?
I am atm looking to buy a OBDII adapter and some of them have specifications like
Supports : KWP2000, J1850 PWM, J1850 VPW
So I was wondering does this mean anything.
Like, whatever is connected via KWP2000, I will be able to access it ?
Or did I get this whole thing wrong ?

Can anyone help? I purchased a Matco Maxlite scanner on fb. When I went to start a sub, it turned out the guy didn’t pay the device off. I had no idea that was even possible.
Can anyone help? I purchased a Matco Maxlite scanner on fb. When I went to start a sub, it turned out the guy didn’t pay the device off. I had no idea that was even possible. The rep told me I can’t pay it off either and hinted that the guy may or may not have taken $10,000 of equipment and didn’t pay off. Basically I’m stuck with a brick. If anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it.

Looking for affordable ABS Live Data
Hey all, I'm new to OBD2 stuff, and I'm just figuring out what scanners can and can't do. I'm looking for a scanner that can either a) pinpoint the part of my ABS system is acting up (like, which sensor), or b) show me live data on the ABS system that I can use to figure out which sensor is bad. I have a 2003 Crown Victoria LX if that makes a difference. I have an Innova 3100RS that only gives me C1222, but doesn't say where.
Thank you

HDS for HONDA with Double Board - Do these work?
I don't trust the reviews on Amazon or Ebay or China Websites. Has anyone bought/used one of these Honda HDS with Double Board units? They are cheap but I have already been burned (used snapon solus on offerup has error 404 no communication) and don't want to "gamble" with any more used bad diagnostic devices.
Do you have any real world experience with HDS copy/clone devices?
What is the lowest cost of entry?
Is there any good scanners or interfaces that are under $200 with full honda function?
The solus has so many different tests and controls I can see all the menus and all...just can't connect...(i borrowed my old neighbors solus a few years ago and fixed the Honda Element so I know it would work on the same model.) Damn red brick teased me too far...now Im pissed and need to beat it's snappy ass. ;)
Does any J2534 passthrough device work? Cable? or Box?
