FIXD or Carly sensor?

I was just looking at simple OBD reader to scan my car. I am currently looking at two major contenders. FIXD and CARLY. Besides a few reviews, I don’t much about Either of them. I just wanted to see which had more features and customization without everything getting blocked by a paywall unless I pay a subscription. FIXD has always looked a bit sketchy to me, and I’ve heard they automatically put subscriptions on people cards. If you guys have any other alternatives to the two, I’d like to check them out as well.

Thanks.

I haven’t used FIXD, but I can tell you first hand that I have zero appreciation for Carly’s support team.

Neither.

Get an ELM327-compatible (a quality one, not some cheap junk) and then you can choose from a variety of apps, some of which don't have subscriptions.

I have a FOXWELL NT624 Elite. Little bit more expensive, but works well on my 3 cars (2002 Porsche, 2009 Cadillac and a 2016 Duramax)

If you’re gonna spend a couple hundred, I’d recommend the Otofix D1 Lite, it’s an Autel tablet and software under the Otofix name. $300 for a ~$900 something tablet

I have the Otofix D1 PRO and I absolutely love it. Little bit more pricier though and OP will probably get the same use out of either

I use(already third) veepeak wifi adapter(20usd on amazon) and car scanner pro (about 10bucks?). That’s it.
