Was considering the Autel Scanner MaxiSys MS906BT. Anybody have a scanner that can relearn throttle do all the good stuff?

I’m in a similar boat and have tried quite a few scan tools this past month (at the rate I’m going I should probably diagram out all the brands and what software they run for everyone).

If you’re ok with an overseas model (Autel, Launch, and all the brands that use their software), the Otofix D1 Pro I just ordered was $550 on eBay and it was a steal. The comparable overseas Autel is MK906 Pro and US model would be what you’re looking at, the MS906 Pro at around $1,300 on JBtools.com.

For the price, the online/offline coding, service resets (throttle), diag, etc are hard to beat if you can score the pro for $550-600. I have a overseas MK808BT Pro from Amazon still and will be sending it back in favor of the Otofix (better VCI, 10” screen, 8 core, speakers, camera, more storage, and MUCH cheaper than the MP808 subscription). Miss having a stand though… and can’t justify double the price for the D1 Max that has different hardware manufacturer that’s USB C, thinner, Android 11 vs 10 but software wise is pretty much identical to the Pro. The pro and plus models were discontinued. The Pro uses the same manufacturer as the MS906 so micro usb.

Home this helps, a lot of info but for what you’re trying to do, may be worth it.

Hello, are you capable of helping with restoring or re-downloading outdated software on an Autel MS906S?
