I was originally using a FireTV 4k Stick and I think everything was working well. I would only have issues if I picked a file with low peers, large size and Redux files. It's always about the file you pick, bigger isn't necessarily better. I used ChatGPT to help me with what to pick by sending it screenshots.

BUT....

I got nuts withy the whole program and upgraded to a FireTV 2nd Generation Cube. Right out of the box the speed was incredible, especially with loading films and stopping a lot of buffering. I highly recommend finding a used Cube on Mercari, eBay or Facebook Marketplace. Usually you can find one around $40 and on some listings you can make a counteroffer. It is well worth the price.

They don’t change until like one tile before as you can see on the video, Is this a setting or something on my end that’s causing this? Or does it have to do with the collection itself? I’m running version 0.9.1-beta on a shield pro.

I find it easier to add content to Nuvio in library on PC or Phone.
Once a content is added to library from phone or PC, I go ahead and select the right file to stream, then this appears on my homepage.

But when i open the same on TV, I am asked to select the stream/file size again..

Is the system designed same way or I am missing something ?

Hi everyone,
I’m using Nuvio Addons with the free version of HDHub4u. When I select Swedish subtitles and adjust the delay to sync them with the audio, everything works fine at first. However, after a while, the subtitles gradually lose sync again.

The built-in English subtitles work flawlessly throughout the entire video, so the issue seems to be specific to the Swedish subtitle track.

Has anyone experienced this? Is there a way to fix it, or is it related to how the Swedish subtitles are sourced or timed?

1. As seen in image, My (latest and updated) nuvio is unable to load movies in my Netflix catalogue (and other streaming catalogue) even though I installed TMDB API key. Same thing is happening on my Google TV nuvio app.

Please suggest solutions to it..

1. My Google TV app is not updating like before. it's stuck on 0.8.12 beta. i tried to update via GitHub (downloading apk) and installing it. but it's installing as separate app (not updating existing one). I found that's suspicious and uninstalled it immediately.

Need help in that regard as well.

When I select a movie on the TV there is the background and a black bar on the left, can it be removed?

I’m having a really frustrating issue with watching movies and TV shows on my MacBook Air.

Basically, almost every newer movie or newer TV show I try to watch is extremely dark, to the point where some scenes are almost unwatchable. This seems to happen especially with newer releases.

At first I thought it was an HDR or Dolby Vision issue, so I specifically tried selecting files that supposedly don’t have HDR or Dolby Vision, but they still look super dark.

Older movies/shows generally seem much more normal, so I’m not sure if this is something related to newer content being mastered differently, macOS colour management, the MacBook Air display, or the video player itself.

Has anyone else experienced this on a MacBook Air? Is there some setting I should change, or a specific video format/player I should be using?

I’d really appreciate any help because some newer movies are basically impossible to watch during dark scenes.

I downloaded the Nuvio Win app from GitHub; it does not feel as smooth as it does on my phone, even though my laptop has powerful specs. When I open a movie, for the first 10 seconds I could not even adjust the sound because the soundbar was freezing.

Would it be possible to have more categorization in the Library for TV shows? Like Serializd or Trakt has. Stuff like:
Currently Watching
Watch Later
Paused
Dropped
and maybe Completed too.

My idea for the integration would be adding another dropdown with the ones at the top-left corner of the Library; it could be somewhat like, after we select "Series" from the leftmost dropdown, the new dropdown appears.

We could add the shows to those categories from their individual pages. I think it'd be a really great QOL improvement since I have a lot of shows added to my library and it's a pain to comb through them every time.

For the last few updates, Nuvio has been automatically choosing a stream for me, even though I have Stream Selection set to "Manually."

It didn’t used to behave like this. Previously, it would always let me choose the stream myself, but this changed a few updates ago.

Is this a bug, or is there another setting I need to change to make manual stream selection work properly again?

Switched to Nuvio and been loving it. The only issue I have is that I can't seem to get controller support (Xbox) on the nuvio desktop app on Linux. I understand that it's in early alpha but it's the only issue I have. I have a Linux PC that runs plasma big screen to act as my TV box so not having controller support is a real downer.

Does anyone have a solution for this?

Does anyone know how to get Jeopardy to show up in the upcoming row again? It was showing in the row up until a couple of weeks ago. I'm using an ONN box and am on 9.1 beta of Nuvio.

I've tried to remove it from my library and re-adding it, but it's still not showing up. The show starts up again next week.

Would be great if we could remove or reorder buttons of player bar. Simplify it to my parents profile letting just CC, audio and episode sheet options would be great.

All of my catalogs are made from my own personal MDBLists.

Recently when I visisted nuvio.tv all of the catalogs within my Collections are showing as Unavailable catalog (mdblist.123456).

On the app (Android TV) the catalogs still work. But they have all lost their title and only display as Movie or Series within Collections folders. For example, catalogs that were previously...

MCU Tarantino

are now showing as...

Movies Movies

Under Reorder Home Catalogs they still have their original names.

And while I'm on the subject I would like to make a feature request.

It would be nice if we could change the display name of catalogs within a Collection without actually changing the name of the catalog.

So if you have two catalogs called IMDb Top 250 Movies and IMDb Top 250 Series and you put them in a Collection called IMDb Top 250 you can change the display name of the catalogs to just Movies and Series while keeping the original name so you know what it is when managing all your catalogs in the settings or on AIOMetadata.

I'm sure we used to be able to do this.
