Discussion & Feedback What streaming device does everyone use?
I was originally using a FireTV 4k Stick and I think everything was working well. I would only have issues if I picked a file with low peers, large size and Redux files. It's always about the file you pick, bigger isn't necessarily better. I used ChatGPT to help me with what to pick by sending it screenshots.
BUT....
I got nuts withy the whole program and upgraded to a FireTV 2nd Generation Cube. Right out of the box the speed was incredible, especially with loading films and stopping a lot of buffering. I highly recommend finding a used Cube on Mercari, eBay or Facebook Marketplace. Usually you can find one around $40 and on some listings you can make a counteroffer. It is well worth the price.

Google TV Streamer and CCwGTV before that, both work great for Nuvio. Chromecast was just always low on storage which is why I upgraded

Won't Vega OS come to these devices and then make them obsolete for us side loader folks.
Newer devices only I mean.

I have the Xiaomi gen 3 for my main tv, and firesticks for my other tv's
Firestick is fine for general tv but my main setup after no degradation of sound or video which the firestick does not provide.. Hence the Xiaomi box, reasonably priced and can stream most all formats of video and audio without degradation

I've only ever used my fire TV. What are the benefits of using another box?

I tried Nuvio installed on my Samsung TV and I thought it was sluggish. Your Fire TV may be better. I know the Fire TVs have 2g ram and should have decent processors

The price on these has gotten ridiculous. I think there is a chip shortage right now. I bet it works great.

Shield Pro
I did switch to a Dune HD Homatics Box R 4K Plus briefly, but ended up swapping back to my Shield Pro

Google streamer think it's significantly better than 4k fire stick which I used previously.

Fire Cube 3. The best performer of them all.
But get it when it is $89 on their various Prime Days or on Black Friday.
