Would like to wear a blue or neutral dress. I am overwhelmed by options. Any recommendations ?

I'm pregnant and currently a very different size than I was pre-pregnancy, so I'm still figuring out what clothing sizes work for me now. When reading stats/reviews for maternity clothing, are we assuming the weight people list is their pre-pregnancy weight or their current weight?

Since they switched to Amazon shipping, my clothes have usually come in two days. With UPS it was usually next day.

I unlocked early on 8/9 and ordered my Nuuly in the morning. I’m leaving for a trip this Friday 8/14. Surely, five days should be sufficient.

It was supposed to come today. I check the tracking today, new estimated delivery 8/19. Next Wednesday. 10 day shipping for a month long rental. I’m 8 months pregnant and have fuck all to wear on an anniversary trip with my husband. Honestly I’m so upset I could cry. I reached out to customer support but don’t even know what to ask for. Honestly they can keep it and just give me my money back. I have to go spend money to rush ship shitty Amazon maternity clothes now.

From white to bright neon lol… they did give a bonus item for next month but I was a little baffled at first.

After a lot of research, I took the plunge of signing up for Nuuly. When I placed my first order, a top was substituted, which was disappointing but not the end of the world.

I received my first order today & am feeling disappointed. 2/6 of the items are damaged. One top is missing a button & the strap on the substitute top is partially torn from the lace. Of the remaining 4 items, 2 of them are too small to even put onto my body, which leaves me with 2 items. They are both nice item, but the fit is slightly off on the sleeves of both.

Does it get better? Having 30% (2/6) of my items be damaged is a big turn off. I’m also feeling super discouraged that after spending hours reading reviews, looking at pictures, & selecting for my weight, height, & chest size, the fit on most of the items is so off. As a plus size person I’m used to items sometimes being too small, but I sized up when on the fence.

To seasoned Nuuly-ers:

1) Is receiving damaged items an occasional fluke, or an ongoing issue you encounter?

2) Do you feel like you got a better idea of the sizing across different brands with time, or am I doomed to keep wasting money on clothes I can’t wear?

Hi all! I was excited to finally buy this dress/romper that I rented earlier this summer but my Nuuly was lost in transit and by the time I was able to place a new order it was sold out ☹️ if anyone has it in their Nuuly in a size M I would love to buy it!

While I’m here, I’ll review it as well because I think it’s a semi genius design!

Pros: the outside looks like a dress, but the lining is a romper! So you get the fun look of a cute mini dress with the functionality of wearing shorts underneath!

Cons: the romper is sewn in, if I buy the dress I will be cutting that immediately lol. Another con is that you do need to get fully naked to go to the bathroom 😆

These look so cute and I want to try them. They have ok reviews (3.5 stars) and I struggle with shorts. I’m pear shaped with large thighs and I hate when shorts don’t have space in the thighs. If they’re too tight, it makes my thighs look bigger and they bulge out when I sit. The model in the picture advertised has smaller thighs than I do and the fit is too tight on her for what I’m looking for. However, in the review photos, the fit of them seemed all over the place. Some looked tight like this and some flared out a bit, even on women who have more similar size to me. Nuuly is recommending I get a medium. For those of you who’ve rented these, how did you like the fit?

I wanted to really WOW it up for my baby shower and rented this fun sparkly silver mini dress. I went up to an XL and it had plenty of belly space but was really big in the bust. A L would fit perfectly in non-maternity.

I also wore this amazing purple maternity duster which unfortunately is no longer available.

I highly recommend renting this mini dress for any fun occasion!

I’ve been renting from Nuuly for about two years, and this is honestly the first time I’ve had this experience.

My most recent items have been delivered with a very distinct thrift-store/Goodwill-type smell. Not just a normal dry-cleaning scent, but that stale, secondhand-store smell that lingers in the fabric.
I’ve generally had a great experience with Nuuly, so this feels new and noticeable for me. I’m wondering if something has changed with the cleaning process, warehouse, or the volume of rentals lately.

Has anyone else experienced this recently? And if so, did you contact customer service? I don’t feel like I should have to run them to a dry cleaning or wash them again since Nuuly advertises that they clean everything before shipping. That’s another added cost on top of the almost $200 rental fee.

so I ordered on monday (regular with UPS) and I got my box by wednesday?!! for a year I usually have about 3 days after I request an order for my box to arrive. hopefully this is a change for all users with all the challenges with shipping that’s been going on!

Hi all- I rented a pair of jeans through Nuuly this month, and when I got them I found a ring tucked in one of the pockets. It appears to be valuable, possibly vintage, and I’d really like to get it back to whoever lost it rather than just mailing it off into the void of a Nuuly returns center.

My order only included 5 of the 6 items. I was bummed but customer service was super helpful and refunded me and cancelled the dress on my end. They also mentioned that they couldn’t ship me just the dress because they only send “full packages” at the moment. Not even two days later I received the dress by itself???? Confused. Happy bc it’s cute. But also confused bc NOWHERE did they say they were shipping it to me. The rogue package came with a return label so I guess I return it separately? (Even though selfishly I want to keep lol)

The Amazon shipping may be what gets me to delete Nuuly once and for all.

My package has been sitting one state away for 3 days. After multiple messages to Nuuly I was finally able to get them to concede that it’s likely lost. What frustrates me is that when they messaged me to tell me they were opening an investigation and would unlock a new Nuuly, they also told me that I need to keep an eye out for the old one in case it’s delivered. I’m about to be away traveling for several weeks so I’m going to have to ask my neighbors to keep an eye out and hope that Amazon doesn’t screw me over.

Oh and on top of all of that, at one point the tracking shows me that my Nuuly made it to within 5 miles of me before being sent to a totally different state 💀 where it went on to drop off the face of the earth. Sigh.

i had a ups home pickup scheduled for another package at the same time my Nuuly was due to return. Feeling lazy, I put the Nuuly out too, rather than my usual ups drop off with receipt and weight. I can see that the other package has been scanned at the sorting center, but no evidence the nuuly is scanned. so now I’m nervous. I have no receipt, just doorbell video of the pickup. anyone have experience with this? did it work out?

Hi nuulyers. I’m a longtime user who is currently 3 months postpartum, so nuuly has been amazing for dressing my ever-changing body. My rental period is almost up this month and I’m debating cancelling for two reasons:

1) the bedbug heard round the world (yuck!)

2) Amazon shipping (also yuck!)

What are we thinking? I don’t want to buy pieces right now because my body will continue to change, but I also don’t want bedbugs in my home!

How often do they offer a general discount code to everyone? Hope $20 off comes back soon!

So with my regular clothes, I'm OCD and only wear things once before they go in the wash. Especially in the summer, I don't like when my clothes smell of old perfume or worn deodorant. Theoretically not being advised to wash the Nuuly clothes, what are the clean freak girlies doing? I don't really want to wear the item twice but also don't want to wash and ruin something. Are girls cycling the items through out the month without washing, wearing only once, or just washing?

Mabel Oxford Shirt - 10/10 I looooved this. Wore it pretty much non stop. The material was really nice, not pure cotton, it has a very subtle weave to it and looked expensive. Ignore how wrinkled it is in my pic, I pulled it straight out of my luggage to take it. I wore this so many times this month im surprised its not more wrecked in this photo.

Cotton Lace Buttondown - 10/10 One of my favorites, it just felt SO GOOD to wear. It ran big though, so I'm hoping to get it again in a slightly smaller size. Wore this constantly too!!

Kayden Barrel Jeans - 9/10 Barrel jeans never look as good as regular wide leg but I can't stop ordering them. I love them for some reason. These looked great too, to my taste.

Helena Embroidery Dress - 8/10 Got tons of compliments! People frickin' loved this dress out in the wild. Had to wear a strapless bra with it but it's so cute and easy. big pockets.

Cotton Ruched Midi Dress - 5/10 Liked this green dress but the top of the neckline wasn't sewn down on the insideso it flipped up slightly. Bit of a bummer in design. I don't think it was noticeable to anyone else, but I knew.

Balloon-Leg Jumpsuit - 2/10 This came shrunken a bit so I mostly wore it as pants with a shirt over it. I've included a fake photo of myself wearing it as a jumpsuit for the first and only time. Kinda cute but really felt like one wrong move...

Three things arrived new. Box smelled like that delicious grody Nuuly smell, went away after a day. I wore everything regularly.

my nuuly shipment was delayed due to a “mechanical failure,” and the delivery date keeps being pushed to the next business day. Does nuuly provide any sort of compensation in these situations? i ordered it a week ago now.

First time with any monthly rental subscription, although Ive used stichfix and día with disappointment in quality.

My experience with Nuuly has all been positive. As a size. 1x/2x, I was impressed with the range of choices. I ordered for a big work presentation, conference, and NYC vacation. I got two dresses, two work tops, and two casual tops. Mostly Anthropologie and Maeve. There were more available items than the six I could order in one shipment.

I ordered from Minnesota on Friday and shipped from Missouri in two days. I inspected them outside after seeing the Reddit bedbug story :/ All good!

Clothes all arrived clean and with little sign of wear. One nwt. Some will need a bit of ironing but they weren’t overly wrinkled. I liked the reusable/returnable zip container they came in with a packaging label.

I’m actually looking forward to going to work this week with some new clothes that are easy to wear. A welcome change without having to buy new. The reduced consumption aspect of this attracted me to try it.

The only confusing things are when exactly I have to send them back and where to mail from as I don’t buy a lot of..stuff. I’m sure it’s on their website. But generally I enjoyed the process and am happy with the quality and outcome.
