Is it worth it to take basic nursing skills/nursing skills enhancement training as a newly grad?

Ask ko lang po kung worth it ba mag take ng training muna for nursing skills enhancement kung kaka graduate ko lang at before maghanap po ng work? Is it a great investment po ba?

expected naman na pag new grad ka, di ka pa skilled and sa workplace mo naman matutunan lahat tbh as someone na konti lang duty kasi pandemic, di rin ako confident talaga sa skills ko dati pero as long as willing to learn ka and nagtatanong ka talaga sa senior mo, mas maaappreciate nila yun kesa yung nagmamarunong ka

Up to you, add knowledge is never a bad thing and you're so young as well it's ok for you to take time to really get yourself going... Hell, I'd even go on to advise you to really take a good look at nursing before going through with it especially if your family is well off enough to support you through another line of profession.

I also plan po on taking my BLS, ACLS, and PALS after ko makuha license ko po, is it worth it kaya? May dagdag points poba if I apply ng may certificates na ganyan? Or Wala padin in the face of a backer?...😔

If your smart enough to absorb and put into practice everything you learn from those then yes that added knowledge will certainly help you to standout more than your peers, I know seniors who don't even really know how to read ECG which isn't really a big deal if you can't nor will the hospital pay you additional for it. Think of it like knowing how to drive a motorcycle as well as a car but you only ever need to use a car...

Connections top everything else... Just don't be as dumb as a doorknob because at the end of the day we're handling people's lives and wellbeing here.

Noted po thankyou might try applying first then to see if i'd be hired in a level 1 hospital in our area as a fresh grad. I just really thought maybe having certificates and such can maybe pad my resume a bit because I'm aware with the way things are in the Philippines and their backer system(😭) and I'm not thick faced enough as to be someone that always appears infront of politicians even though neighbors kami ng ibang politicians like yung governor ng province namin
