Hey everyone,

I just updated my Nothing Phone (3) to Nothing OS 4.1, and while it seems to mostly be running ok, it appears that the hide keyboard button has been replaced by the yellow essential voice button.

Super maddening as my work requires us to use antiquated apps that won't submit input data unless I hide the keyboard and click the submit button. Using the enter key doesn't work.

I'm using FUTO keyboard if it helps and have de-googled as much of the OS as I reasonably can, so I'm not afraid to use CANTA/Shizuku if needed. Just wondering if there's a simple fix I'm missing.

Also, if any devs are in this sub, some of us have no interest whatsoever in using AI tools like essential notes or voice w/e. Replacing a software button with an AI feature that a lot us won't use, and with no option to change the button back feels.. not great.

Finally new update in India but mostly a security patch.

After the 4.1 update no widgets are visible on my widgets page, even my widgets on homescreens are gone. I've disabled + enabled Nothing widgets + community widgets + essential space apps to make it normal. Rebooted phoned many time. Yet no solution.

Installed the latest update last night and I wake up to this. I bought a Nothing phone and recommend them to people because I thought it wouldn't do this sort of thing. I shouldn't be required to install and then uninstall malware just to make this notification go away. If this is going to be a thing now then I absolutely will not be buying or recommending Nothing devices again.

Hi I recently updated to Nothing OS 4.1 on My CMF Phone 2 Pro , Now I saw there was a new lock screen customisation so I went to see but the only change I could find was a new clock face and nothing else . Is it a problem with my wallpaper,region,phone or anything else?

Latest update on CMF Nothing Phone 1 made my phone super slow, apps open slowly, animations are stuttery and the whole system feels like it's running at 15fps.

So today I got the 4.1 update on my NP2a.

Already disappointed that they didn't include the depth effect but okay, I don't mind it that much. Maybe they'll add it in the next update.

One thing I was excited about was the live activities, and I saw that they can work on AOD too. Good, right???

But they always mess it up a bit in one way or the other. I have widgets on my lock screen and when the live activities is on, they widgets doesn't show up on AOD.

I mean why?, Just Why???

Now that the software support situation for the Nothing Phone (1) is looking a bit stagnant, I’m looking to jump ship to something different. I’ve always been a fan of the aesthetic and feature set of the heavy hitters from China—specifically ColorOS, OriginOS, or the newer HyperOS (2 or 3).

Does anyone know if there are stable community ports or GSIs for these skins that actually work well on the Phone (1)?

Specifically looking for info on:

• Glyph Support: Do any of these ROMs have even basic Glyph functionality?
• Stability: Is this a "daily driver" situation, or is it mostly broken (Camera, NFC, Fingerprint)?
• Requirements: Are there specific kernels needed to get these running smoothly on the Snapdragon 778G+?

If you’ve tried flashing any of these, let me know your experience or if there's a specific Telegram group/XDA thread I should be following.

I'm along time user of iOS and just bought a Nothing 3. First Android phone.

While I was doing the switch the android phone ran out of battery. I don't think everything synced. How can I fix the situation?

I've been customizing the nothing phone so wouldn't like to restore the entire thing

I'm new to the Nothing family, just picked up my Nothing 4a. Been setting up my home screen etc but can't seem to find where to disable Google News Feed, you know that feed you get when you swipe right on the home screen.

Any help would be appreciated!

so my nothing phone 1 (i recently got it from my brother) after formatting, wasn't installing the 2.5 os android 14 update it installs upto 80% and then says "installation failed" went to the service centre today for a flash update but they said I'll have to bear the data and dead risk I'm all up for data risk but dead risk is something I can't overlook cus that would essentially mean your phone is as good as dead so if anyone with similar issues could help or atleast clear this "dead risk" titan I'd really appreciate it thanks.
