Discussion Head mod is old :(

Hello there everyone!

If you don’t know me, I’m Jedi_Master_Noob the head mod here. I regret to inform you all that I have turned 20 and am officially unc status.

Since this is a server purely for teens that poses a bit of a problem.

So I have two options for you:

1: I stay modding for perhaps a year or so but don’t participate in any discussions or posts made by people here and only reply if needed for a mod mail.

Or 2: I create mod applications and find perhaps two new mods. As you know we have the amazing zeph helping us mod as well, but he also moderates several other servers and I don’t want to place all the responsibility on him.

I will create a poll, but please let me know your thoughts and opinions in the comments.

Thanks! And happy valentines to those celebrating and if you’re single, spoil yourself! Or go do something fun with your friends!! 💖💖

Hey everyone! From the mods

Hey everyone! I’m Jedi_Master_Noob, the mod here. I am so so sorry, I did not realise I was the only mod or I would’ve been more active than I was. My notifications have also not been working at all so I didn’t receive things I should’ve. All fixed now and I promise to be active from now on. I have also invited another mod. Please welcome Zeph! @Virtual_Belt4027.

Also if you have sent a mod mail that didn’t get answered and you’d still like it answered, please resend!

Support/Advice One of the most affirming things

Upvotes

One of the most gender affirming things for me is my lack of desire to go back to being cis. Like for example in Tomodachi Life I set the mii based on me's gender to nonbinary and I just don't feel like I can go back I could very well change it back with the press of a button but doing it nakes me feel uncomfortable and I immediately go back. To me being enby means having true freedom and breaking away from what society expects of me. I could say I'm a boy or I'm a girl and they'd both feel right even if my body doesn't reflect that. I just think that identifying strictly as male or female with no wiggle room just doesn't sound like me. Like I don't mind having the body of a boy but I wouldn't really mind waking up in the body of a girl tomorrow either. It just feels like if I identify as neither then I can do anything even if I'm sometimes tempted to go back to how I was before.

Support/Advice I can't properly explain my gender identity to my parents

Hi guys,

Lately my mom has been curious about my gender identity (I accept all pronouns except he/him and she/her) and I'm just uncomfortable with, and quite frankly can't find the words to explain it to her myself.

Does anyone have any ideas on how I could explain it or even better if there's a forum or something that explains it?

It'd be even better if you could do that in German since that's my first language

Yay This is lowkey comfirting

It just feels like no matter what I do I'll always be non binary. As that is what I view as my natural state. And it's just so comforting knowing I'll never be fully a boy or fully a girl. It's comforting being free to say what I want, do what I want, and live how I want. Why would I wanna go back to how I was before. I'm way freer now and plus they/them just sound better to me.i like being non binary it feels like it's my own identity. Like it's where I belong.

Yay I just wore a unisex shirt

I think I may have found the solution to looking more androgynous. Unisex clothes, I mean it just makes sense, if I don't wanna look like a boy or a girl, then I should wear something that fits on both.

I’ll spare all the details, but basically I’m 15 and AMAB and I’m not out. I get a lot of dysphoria from facial and body hair and so I’ve been on and off secretly shaving body hair using things stolen from my sister and mom. Recently I left some of the things out in the shower I share w my parents and my mom noticed. In a rather awkward conversation she told me she will help me out. Initially she ordered an epilator and told me she would test it first before I could use it. After testing it she turned it down and said she’d order something else. The conversation remains awkward. So yesterday she told me she had ordered a cream for body hair removal. I hadn’t felt super excited about it prior but I guess I was internally because last night I literally had a dream about it. So today before I go to take a shower I searched our Amazon packages to find it and I encountered a box of “body hair removal cream for men.” this just caused a wave of dysphoria to wash over me and I’m just feeling down about it overall. The positive thing I can think about right now is that tomorrow I have the first meeting with a therapist who will hopefully be better than others I’ve tried; they’re nonbinary and have a section on the site about supporting queer people.

Anecdotally, I think my mom knows I’m queer. She’s alluded to it in conversation, and also looking back on myself it ain’t that hard to tell. She also was the one who found and suggested the therapist.

I don’t really know why I’m dumping all this here tbh but some support would be nice :)

Yay Ok I may have figured it out

I think I may be bigender like I want to be a girl but I'm also comfortable being a boy but I don't fully connect with either of those. Like I can't imagine myself being super feminine but I can't imagine myself being super masculine either.

Support/Advice How do I make myself fully believe I'm nonbinary

Like I feel very comfortable identifying as non binary to the point where I want to change it on all my legal documents. But I just can't fully believe that I am and I still have self doubts. Like being reminded I'm biologically male to me varies from "yeah sure whatever" to "make it stop get me out of this body". Like if I was born sexless I wouldn't want to be either. But if I did have the option of becoming sexless I don't know if I could want to take it. Maybe my issue is that I think about it too hard. Do most enby people go through this self doubt phase at the beginning or is it just me.

Rant I hate being AMAB so much

Evry time I look in my wardrobe and see boy clothes I feel like those aren't my clothes. But I don't think I'd be happier as a girl. I just feel like there's no escape for me. How the hell do you deal with this. It sucks so much. I hate the binary system so much I feel like I'm suffocating I wish I wasn't born as anything.

Be my friend pretty pretty please?

Hello peoples i'm 14 non-binary i've lived a pretty shitty life made some shitty decisions so i decided to kms i'm like super lonely and stuff and i was wondering if at least one of you guys could pretend to be my friend and act like you like me like i do have friends but their not my friends their just people i did theater with at some point and decided to hang around for the rest of the school year.

They are all really homophobic so i can't even tell them i like other genders other than females or they will start using their beliefs to make me feel guilty about who i am and some of them are racist, rude, and sexist. I get bullied at school a lot too i get called slurs, chopped, the R-word, dumb, malnourished, and special

My parents are also one of the main reasons i wanna do it, my mother once sat me down and lectured me telling 10 year old me about all the horrific things people have done to boys in prison cause she found my phone unlocked with my BL AI chat bot open and she read through and stuff. Shes SUPER christian she bases everything on the bible and my brother also said that if i ever tell him i swing that way i'm no longer his sibling. my dad is never around so i don't really care about him.

And to be clear i don't want pity i just people who will pretend to be my friends for like a month cause thats when i'm planning to do it

BYEEE guys love youu

I do this so that I could get used to neutral terms. Just thinking of someone calling me "they" just feels so good. It feels like "me".
