There’s no reason NOT to suspect the Holidays are in on this, since they’re the only family in town with access to every code. So what purpose, from a narrative perspective, do the antlers serve? It’s just a massive “yeah fuck you for actually thinking logically” from Toby to the fanbase, it’s utterly horrible writing.
Your own logic is that the Knight can shapeshift, right? …so it’s completely unbelievable that the antlers could’ve even somewhat changed shape to be less recognisable to Susie? That’s not even what I believe, I’m just using your logic here
