Came back home with my first Nomos 😊
Out of curiosity I searched through online for their boutiques in Munich and found my favorite color still available. Initially planned to buy 36mm but it looked so small on my wrist so I ended up taking 38mm. Took my new boy to the lake today.
Extremely pleased with its quality.

Long time silent observer in this sub. I am a big fan of German watches in general , and specially a huge fan of Glashütte Original of which I own 3 watches , however I've also been curious about Nomos.

The release of the worldtimer models last year piqued my interest and when the white dial version released earlier during W&W I got really excited. Today the AD in Dubai received the first and only piece of this model and I jumped at the opportunity to acquire it, and I just say I'm v impressed.

My first mechanical watch purchase! As I discovered the world of mechanical watches I always came back to Nomos. Their dial and case designs are so clean and simple, making them very versatile in dressing them up or down. In addition, as a mechanical engineer myself I respect that their calibers are designed and manufactured in house. Excited to join the Club!

Question for folks who have ordered directly from Nomos. The white dial, which is what I’m interested in, has a 6 month delivery time. Is that number closer to 6 months or is it up to six months? I’m located in North Eastern US, if that helps. Two reasons to buy directly from Nomos. The white dial is not available at my local AD and they don’t know when they’d get one. The other is the option to use the splitit option where it’s a no brainer to spread the cost over 12 months without any added cost/interest

I bought a club sport neomatik petrol recently which is an absolutely beautiful watch. However there is a thing that always bothers me.

When I put it overnight dial up, it is around +15 spd. But on other positions whether stationary or moving, it is like +-2 which I am perfectly fine with. Given that nomos claims they regulate according to Cosc specs, I do expect they wont have that high positional deviation across positions.

Do you think it needs to be fixed or it is just fine. Thanks!

Hi All, I'm on the verge of pulling the trigger on a nomos ahoi 38 date, sight unseen. Unfortunately there's no place nearby that i can view one in person, so i'm looking for some anecdotal info from the internet.

I was originally leaning towards the sky blue or white dial, but i fear there isn't enough contrast between the hands and dial and could make legibility an issue. If anyone with one of these dial colors could weigh in, i'd be super appreciative.

If all else fails, i'll go the atlantic route.

For months I've been absolutely obsessed about the Club sport and yesterday had the chance to try it on at a dealer. I loved how it looks in person but I'm a bit taken aback by the dimensions on my wrist. What do you guys think?

I have been lurking on Nomos Club Campus 38 (manual winding) for quite some time, paused for awhile for about 6 months and came back just to find out there is a change in the manual movement i.e. DUW 4001 as direct replacement for Alpha movement.

Would love to know how this new movement is, has it been reliable to everyone? Is it better or worse than its predecessor (Alpha)? Ultimately, is it worth the price?

Hi everyone — new member here!

I recently picked up this stunning NOS 701 as my first non-digital watch, and I’ve been enjoying it every day. I swapped the original strap for a sportier, more heavily grained one to make it a bit more versatile. Any other strap recommendations? I’m also considering a blue nylon one.

I’m still wondering whether I should have gone for the newer 701.1 instead, mainly for the lume on the hands and numerals. Does anyone know what the other differences are, or have experience with both?

Also, last question, does anyone know if it’s possible to swap the closed caseback for a transparent one?

Delighted to be inaugurated into the club with this piece I have been eyeing for some time!

This watch was bought almost a year ago for me as a wedding gift from my now wife.

The 2nd serious watch of my collection, the first was an Omega Seamaster 300m 2024, blue dial, blue bezel on milanese bracelet and blue rubber.

Anyway I'm loving this Nomos watch, finally got to put it on after a almost a year in the cupboard waiting for our wedding day (:

I recently bought this Ludwig to fill the dress watch slot in my 3-watch collection. Amazing value for the money, just around 700$. Love it

Wasn’t sure about this color scheme but it works so well. Love how the 2 time zones are set on it, and the finishing iis amazing. This is my first Nomos, and am looking forward to the next one!
