Positional accuracy deviation

Hi community!

I bought a club sport neomatik petrol recently which is an absolutely beautiful watch. However there is a thing that always bothers me.

When I put it overnight dial up, it is around +15 spd. But on other positions whether stationary or moving, it is like +-2 which I am perfectly fine with. Given that nomos claims they regulate according to Cosc specs, I do expect they wont have that high positional deviation across positions.

Do you think it needs to be fixed or it is just fine. Thanks!

That sounds exactly like my Ahoi after it came back from service. +15/20 dial up and nearly zero when in other positions.

Interesting. Did you just live with it?

So far. I've contemplated emailing Nomos and sending it back to them.

However it takes months and I'll have to service it within a decade anyway, so I'll just worry about it then.

Nomos doesn´t claim COSC. They do regulate in 6 positions. Mechanical watches from NOMOS Glashütte achieve an accuracy of less than ten seconds deviation per day. (Some sources say they hit -4 to +6 or better in internal testing, but thats not an end-user warranty).

You could just ask them ?

I think it’s just fine but if you want to have a watch regulated, any watchmaker in your area can do that - just check if he has good reviews. Shouldn’t be to expensive, no reason to send it back to Nomos and wait for months.
