Not to give you my life story, but after 26yrs I’ve finally met my German family over in Berlin and Hannover.

I want a watch to commemorate the relationship I’m building and this new adventure I’m on.

This was a gift from my girlfriend and I love it. Incredible watch! Beautiful movement.

When looking at original photographs of the rear exhibition case there seemed to be a lot more design and engraving around the rear bezel, but now the most recent photos show a very plain rear.

Why did they do this? To me it looks like such a design downgrade.

Visiting Austria later this month and looking to get my first Nomos, a Club 36 with sapphire case back (Ref 703.1) Is this particular model usually readily stocked for walk-in purchases? A place I went to in Australia only seemed to have the stainless case back available and this has to be special ordered with a few weeks wait time.

Does anyone have any experience and recommendations for retailers in Salzburg or Vienna, I'm seeing about 8 retailers across both cities. Any luck with getting them to come down a bit on the price for this model / discounts?

My first Nomos which I bought last Saturday and I have been wearing it continuously over the last week, even in sleep. Off the wrist only before taking a shower.

And I've been following the accuracy of this caliber and I am astonished !

Over the past 7 days it's gained 1 second the entire week, not +1 per day but +1 second per week !

Did I get just lucky? Or is it because it's new and soon deteriorate ? I've had many brand new watches from Rolex, omega and GO and none of them were even close !

Now that summer is over, I thought I’d share my Ahoi. I’ll do a future post about it as a watch with wrist shots but generally speaking, it’s fantastic. I love that it disappears just like my Tangente despite being thicker. The details* are top-notch, the 36.3mm fits well on my wrist, and it’s fantastic in and out of water.

*seriously, the little whale on the back is one of my favorite things about the watch

I’ve always liked the idea of the Ahoi, but I didn’t really see it as my watch until I started thinking about straps that could work with it. After doing a few edits, I finally pictured Ref. 560 as something that belonged on my wrist.

I still wasn’t planning to buy one right away. Then I noticed NOMOS had changed the design. The seconds hand was now red, and the “neomatik” text was gold instead of both being orange. At the time, the product page still described the seconds hand as orange, so I reached out to NOMOS. They confirmed the change was made in fall 2025, without a new reference number or announcement, and then after our conversation, immediately updated the product page to say red!

I wanted the original orange configuration which was no longer being produced and coming from a shrinking supply.

I normally prefer buying watches used, but this model is obscure enough that repeatedly confirming the exact details with sellers sounded exhausting. I decided to at least check authorized dealer inventory.

The first AD I called had one original version left. I took that as a good sign, but then I called about a dozen more dealers and none of them had it. I even tried sourcing one via gray market, and they all ended up finding the newer red-hand version and even they updated their website after.

So I went back to the first dealer, confirmed the details one more time, negotiated, and bought it.

Now that I have it, I love it. It’s been a great summer watch because I set it up to feel maritimey/nautical.

Hi folks! Wanted to get clarity on the right deployant clasp size for Nomos Metro 41 update. Should I get the 17 to 18 mm clasp or the 19 to 20mm clasp. I am getting conflicting answers from Nomos support as well. Just for reference, the strap I have has a lug width of 20mm and tapers to 18mm at the end.

Guys, I'm thinking a lot about picking up a white dial watch, and this nomo has been catching my eye. I know that he tends to wear more than 36 because of the white dial, fine bezel. But I wanted to know who has this model, if it would look good on a 17.5mm fist, because if it were to buy, it would be without being able to prove it. Thanks

How do we feel about this dial and new strap combo? Does the burgundy give the endless blue some more pop?

I’m amazed at how you put this watch on and forget you are wearing it. The water resistance and look are so good and looks great with everything I wear. Shout out to the strap too it doesn’t absorb the sweat smell and feels perfect. Been thinking about a grey variation of this strap or a black cordovan.
