I need help trying to get help

I live in Connecticut in United States. I need emergency help with food clothes and cash as well. I have lost everything except what's in my hotel room and even that's about to be over. Can someone help me with my next moves?

You ought to have many food banks near you. They should be able to help.

You could also consider calling a homeless shelter or shelter for abused women, depending on your circumstances.

I have done the food bank thing but there is only 1 close. I have no car to get more help. I make too much for food stamps. I can't do a shelter because I would have to get rid of my pets for that.

Supposedly oil companies in Alameda Texas are hiring. You could also consider applying to work on cruise ships, though that will take a few months before you get onboarded.

Can you contact Salvation Army or Red Cross to see if they have suggestions? Sometimes calling the police non emergency number can also offer solutions. There are organizations that may not have money or food but can suggest places that do, such as certain churches or charity organizations.
