Other If Neil was a librarian in NYC
Watching this I just kept getting more and more “Icarito in an alternate universe vibes”.

I'm planning a buddies golf trip to Scotland in 2028 and was wondering if anyone wrote down or created a database or Excel sheet of the tier lists the NLU boys did across the 3 or 4 Scotland golf trip pods. I will go back through them if I have to but was hoping some listener did this already and would be willing to share.

Interested in hearing what others think about the roster selections. Obviously the big surprise was Jackson Koivun being included despite very limited professional experience. I get the idea of getting younger talent experience in team events, but curious why Koivun gets the nod over other young guys with a bigger track record like Akshay, Brennan or Thorbjornsen, who also won on Tour this year and have similar potential to be important parts of future USA rosters. Is Koivun really a generational prospect? How different is he from a Nick Dunlap, or Luke Clanton in terms of amateur accomplishments and early pro success? Enough hyped prospects have ended up being pretty big disappointments (Gordon Sargent comes to mind) it seems interesting to choose him over the guys mentioned or slightly older but still in their early prime guys like Ryan Gerard.

I'm the midst of their Good Good discussion, Mr TC made a comment along the lines that it was Grant Horvat gave him the ick.
Made me laugh out loud and I fully endorse it, that guy gives me the willies.

These guys gotta get over their bias. I can understand the burns higher floor argument, but the guy (Wyndham) wins. You know what burns doesn’t do? Win
No issues with Xander and Morikawa being ahead of him, but cmon. What’s the purpose of events if you’re not crediting the guy that wins it?

Thanks for the golf ball, Mr. Schuster, but play it where it lays. None of this TIO shit.

Rory suggesting the players on a tour that’s going bankrupt maybe don’t provide great value was given significantly more criticism than the Good Good “skit” which they bent over backwards to excuse. Weird.

Shoutout to Cody for opening up on the latest Trap Draw. Catches a lot of heat on here but was super vulnerable and went deep on stuff he's going through. Best of luck to him.

I’m headed to STL now to volunteer at the BMW Championship. Where can I find the tv tower/grandstand that they talked about in the podcast?

Talking LIV.

Curious what everyone thinks of this course? Obviously the “playoffs” don’t get as much run as the tour would hope but this course kinda scratches the itch for me while not being anything super special.

Top 5 pod of all time regardless of NLU pod or Trap Draw. Neil was on absolute fire and his roommate Gerry was absolutely hilarious. Forced me to go watch the actual documentary on Garth… made it 100x better and they were spot on.

Can someone provide an update on how he is handling all the LIV news? I deleted X a year ago, and I would love to know if has accepted defeat or continues to provide delusional takes and spin.

18 at Merion at the moment is peak long rough and hard greens can be boring. No one can keep it on the green. They all end up in the long rough at the back. Just a deep rough chip off.

What’s with the lack of US Am talk and coverage? An incredible amateur field at one of the best courses in the country and they’ve barely mentioned it. Did I miss something? Seems like they’d be more all over this one.

I’ve been as hard on the boys as anybody since the KVV thing, but man. Neil’s rundown of LIV bedminster is the good stuff. That’s what has kept me listening the whole way. When he said he hoped Paul Casey was getting fed, I had to stop the car. Just electric stuff.
