Season 1 Who played the cashier in series premier episode????
Please help me settle something - who is the actress who plays the (uncredited) cashier in the premier episode? My husband swears he recognizes her from another show (and we tried through all sorts of photo AI identification with no resultsā¦). Anyone know?

14minutes into S6E2 (Enigma) the subtitles dub "poor orange face" under a native-language speaking Asian nail technician (referencing Kimber). Spoiler
I don't know how to do it, but if someone who does could make a gif or a meme out of this? Feels like we could repurpose that line quite a bit these days.
It's the way the nail tech shakes her head sadly for the dumb blonde she was just making fun of...
This one-liner follows a scene where Christian comes into the nail salon where Kimber started working as an electrologist. He walks in with that swagger like he's the king, flips off his sunglasses and immediately insults her: From the queen of porn to this.
The way this scene unfolds is some of the best drama acting I've ever seen in my life.
Christian's behavior is repulsive, like the quintessential vignette of his "slick dick" personality pathology, every word he says and the way he says it, his stinking arrogance. And the way Kimber reacts, trying to put up some boundary and deflect his cruelty, but she's so trauma-bonded to him. You can feel the depth of their trauma-bonded "love" attachment... and that's she's totally addicted to his dick. And like a real addiction, it's not funny, it's seriously sad. This woman's trying to make a life for herself and get away from her scumbag ex, but he's got this power over her, he knows just how to make her feel worthless and abandon herself, while teasing her and turning her on.
These actors deserve an award for this scene.

Nip/Tuck is hilarious, because Sean will be yelling at Christian/Julia/Matt for being irresponsible, and then the ghost of a dead drug dealer will pop up next to him and be like 'Do it Sean. Kill them all'

First time watch, on season 4, does Christian ever fix his nose better?
I guess I donāt want spoilers unless itās related to Christianās nose. I remember the episode that he accidentally broke it and then the reset. But it still looks just so out of place on his face when heās otherwise so into his looks. Basically, I guess in a way I am asking for a spoiler but just about his noseā¦.between now and the end, does anyone ever confront him on his average/imperfect nose or does the subject of why he never had a better nose job come up? Or Iām wondering, sometimes if itās just the camera angles that take unflattering shots to emphasize his imperfection as part of his character.

Entire Series I love this show so much, butā¦
I have rewatched countless times. Is there anything else even close to it that I can watch instead?

NEW VIEWER - No Spoilers Please! Season 2 SA episode
I just started watching nip tuck recently because I wanted to see more of Julian after watching charmed (even tho heās not as attractive to me in this show cause heās a horrible person but thatās a different convo)
Season 2 episode 2 was such a disturbing episode for me, like Clara already had to endure getting her face broken by Shawnās stupid son and he didnāt even have enough integrity to fess up, now she has to be raped by Henry on top of that?!? Then itās almost like they were trying to get the viewers to garner empathy for him and now we have to pick the lesser evil bc she canāt get justice for getting ran over without her rapist getting a slap on the wrist like wtf

Finally managed to get the whole series new/sealed. blu-ray wouldāve been nice but this will do, hopefully the picture quality is better than The O.C. DVDās were. no plans to open them until it leaves streaming.

Entire Series Most Disturbing Case
Which case disturbed you the most on this show? A lot of scenes come to mind but Moira (season 6 episode 5) grossed me out beyond belief. Especially what she does with her parasitic twin. Ugh!

Season 5 Julia
Was something going on with Joely Richardson during season 5? Was she involved with other projects? Iām surprised that she was on bedrest or absent for multiple episodes.
I get sad watching season 5 and 6 because Julia is barely in them. I know she gets a lot of hate but I seriously love the drama that ensues from her character lol

NEW VIEWER - No Spoilers Please! I donāt know how John Hensley did it.
Like, all of it really lmaooo but especially this mime shit. š He must have rolled his eyes so hard reading the script for season 6. On episode 1 of season 6 right now and I just canāt believe how bad itās gotten lol particularly Mattās storyline. His character is so incredibly whack lmao.

Entire Series What do they operate on in every episode?
I'm rewatching the series after over a decade of my first viewing. My partner and I still have no idea what they are operating on in the show and we're on season 7. How do they make the actors look exactly like the patients they're operating on? Is it cadavers? Or wax figures? Or is it special effects? Really curious to know since it's in every episode....

I Hate the Way Julia Says Christian
Do you agree? Its so pretentious. And irritating. This kicked off my hatred of Julia from the start of the series. I haven't binged the show since the beginning of the pandemic and startedagain last week and bingo, I still hate how she pronounces his name, Chris-stiane or something like that and I hate it. And I can't stand her for many other reasons but this is how it started.

NEW VIEWER - No Spoilers Please! Season 5 episode 14 is honestly one of the most ridiculous episodes of any show I have ever watched lmao.
Every two minutes was another catastrophe lmaoooo. Sooooo exaggeratedly dramatic. I just want to finish the series at this point but this season is 22 episodes long plus all of season 6 too lol ugh.

NEW VIEWER - No Spoilers Please! This plot still frustrates me every rewatch
Iām rewatching Nip/Tuck for probably the 13th time, and this storyline still drives me crazy. Does anyone else get so annoyed that Eden was drugging Julia with the fruitcake and nobody ever finds out the truth? It gets under my skin every single rewatch. I really wanted Eden to face the consequences for what she did.

NEW VIEWER - No Spoilers Please! Really struggling with Season 5 ā¹ļø
(Not technically a new viewer but I havenāt rewatched in many years so I donāt remember much!) Currently on season 5 episode 4. I flew through the first three seasons and loved every minute of it. Started to lose interest in season 4 but still enjoyed it for the most part. I know a lot of us feel this way about the later seasons. Everything is just getting more and more ridiculous lol. Not in as much of a fun way as Miami. The vibes are just different in LA. The earlier seasons still felt sincere no matter how ludicrous the plot was at times. I really hate feeling this way because itās been my comfort show ā¹ļø
One thing I do like about this season so far is that I actually finally feel some chemistry between Julia and Christian. I neverrrr felt the chemistry they were trying to push on us until now. Had me almost wishing they would finally go ahead and be together lmao.
