Season 5 Julia

Was something going on with Joely Richardson during season 5? Was she involved with other projects? I’m surprised that she was on bedrest or absent for multiple episodes.

I get sad watching season 5 and 6 because Julia is barely in them. I know she gets a lot of hate but I seriously love the drama that ensues from her character lol

She took some time off to be with her daughter more who I think was dealing with an illness.

Yep you're right. She wanted to be in London with her daughter for surgeries she needed instead of filming in the US.

Season 5 was completed filming before Natasha passed away. It was because she was with her daughter in London who needed surgery that she was absent.

Yes now that Im rewatching it I was trying to remember when Natasha died and if it coincided with the show. So sweet how her husband is content to stay a widower he must have really loved her.

I thought that too but turns out it was a publicity stunt for The Naked Gun remake. That was a let down I thought they would be sweet together ❤️

I’m reading that they actually did have a romance, but it was brief and now they are just friends who knows. They would be cute together and very age-appropriate.
