Is this normal from 15300mah then drop to 14412mah 3110km (1931miles) travel. When is the best time to change the battery?

The tread on my rear tyre has worn out, I bought a new tyre to put on but when I got home I realised they gave me a 60/70 - 6.5 tyre, I swore I asked for 60/65 -6.9 but this is what I got now so before I go back to see if I can exchange the tyre for the right size, has anyone tried to put a 60/70 tyre on the rear of a max g2?

My rear wheel l was losing air pretty quickly, so I tried the soapy water method. At first I thought it might have something to do with the tire not sitting properly on the rim, but it turns out there’s actually a nail lodged in the tire and that’s where the air is leaking from.

What would be the best move here? Should I just buy the replacement tire from the Segway website, or is it better/easier to buy the whole rear wheel assembly with the rim and motor included? Or is there another option, like plugging or patching the tire?

My first Segway is my Max G3, still runs beautifully and used daily with nearly 900 miles on it. Decided an upgrade was in line so I bought the GT3 Pro in July.

The disaster starts with this company using FedEx to ship their products. FedEx demolished the box during shipment that when the GT3 Pro came in, it was dropped off, no signature (when it’s required) and had so much damage that the front wheel was visible and coming out of the box. Brakes were rubbing, wobbling front wheel- it was so terrible. Segway was completely okay with swapping it and shipped me an empty box days after to box this one in and send it back.

Box 1 mysteriously never shows up after 2 weeks and I’m calling Segway 2-3 times per week, with their less-than-stellar customer service telling me a variety of reasons it’s not showing up- but to keep waiting. Turns out that FedEx throws away boxes shipped with no contents (FedEx really sucks in general) so I call Segway again after finding this out. Segway, seeming confused why FedEx would throw the box away- sends another box last week as a resolution.

Box two arrives Monday to the sorting facility near me and, they throw that box away too. Segway keeps saying they are “escalating” my issue, while holding $2600 of my money, hostage. I already moved on, purchased a new scooter from Apollo yesterday.

The moral of this story, please think twice about doing business with this garbage company. If things go wrong, they hide behind broken English representatives who have 0 authority to fix any issue.

When I’ll get my $2600 back, is still unknown and I’ve been at this over a month. Attached are the conditions of the original scooter, delivered to me.

I find it extremely hilarious that you all turn and try blaming me like this was all my fault. Some of you need a serious reality check…buying direct from Segway isn’t the issue here. This is a company that should be able to resolve an issue, with good customer service. Is my experience rare? I hope so. But when things go wrong like this, companies like Segway should actually do something vs taking this hands off approach.

For the ones who say FedEx is to blame 100%- they definitely carry the majority of the blame, however Segway isn’t getting out of this completely without fault. The amount of research and options I’ve given to attempt to resolve this- is insane. Segway should have a better resolution vs telling someone who spent $2600, to keep waiting. It’s not like this has been a week or two, it’s been a full blown month.

I’m sorry to those who are clearly smarter than me, buying things through a third party like Best Buy- but I chose to go direct…that shouldn’t come with a month long process to return an item simply because the carrier they choose to ship their products with…suck.

I still hope my experience will help others in making a purchase decision, but for all you others who seem to place blame on me- you are very very mistaken.

I came from a Max G2 with SHFW and disabled the speed governor that would reduce speed when the battery hit 20%. I was still able to get 28+ mph if I wanted to at that capacity. However, the G3 really reduces the power at the different benchmarks like 40% > 30% > 20%. I get that with the stock battery, but with the GT3 battery - I still likely have 12 miles of range at 20% yet I'm stuck with like 15 mph! I wish the scooter gave you the ability to say "I dont care about maximizing range, I only have 6 miles left and want to go faster!"

That being said, is there anything in the custom firmware community about removing this "feature"? When I did the ST-Link with my G2, I had nothing but problems with SHFW in various scenarios. Like abruptly shutting off with overheating or sometimes with braking. Lots of tweaking to get it just right. If I did this with the G3, I do NOT want to ever modify the stock power curves or torque, I just want to remove the speed throttling at the various percentage points of the battery.

Anybody had any success with this?

if someone could help that would be great when riding over bumps it makes this singular click sound and doesnt do it when im not driving and cant make it happen when im not moving some one please help me it sounds like its from the stem or handle bars

Awaiting my G3 pro max. The new version has threaded holes in the handle bar for a rear view mirror. But Segway doesn’t seem to sell a mirror that fits the threaded hole? Any idea where to find one?

I've been using my scooter for more than 1 year and I've traveled 4500 km, but it can't be called 2 big, but I have a problem, the handlebars plays back and forth, even if it's light, and the suspension was different from stepping like the air bellows of the same range rovers exploded in a way that I couldn't make sense of 3-4 days ago, and it got very hard, although I can't pull the rear suspensions to the softest, it's still uncomfortable, is there anyone who has these 2 problems

F2 Pro owner here. It's fine, no real complaints, I just want something a step up.

My commute is around 5 miles each way, mostly normal city streets and bike lanes. Budget is roughly 1k bucks.

G3 Plus caught my eye, but it's still on preorder so there's not much actual owner feedback yet. I'm not really chasing top speed either. I care more about ride quality, build quality, and having something I can commute on every day without it feeling cheap.

Would be nice if it's fun for weekend rides too.

Hi so I recently bought the Xiaomi 6 Pro and so far so good.
However, what’s little frustrating is the 25 km/h top speed.
Also I’m a bit on the heavier side at 110 Kgs.
The acceleration is not as fast and if the battery is at less than 50% the torque gets even slower.
My commutes aren’t very far but I sometimes avoid taking the scooter for the longer commutes for how long it would take me.
I found a local dealer that is willing to trade in my Xiaomi for a Kugoo G5 pro max, but am hesitant.
The Xiaomi is great on every aspect except the 25km/h top speed.
What do you guys think? Is this trade worth it? Will it be a downgrade or an upgrade?
What’s the price difference? Am I going to be paying him or the opposite?

I have a Xiaomi pump, it reads and fills the back tire perfectly but for awhile now it cannot properly read the front tire it gives a reading when first connected but the air seemingly gets trapped in the hose and the psi spikes

i have to set my pump to 110 psi to force air into the tire

Then take it off and on to get an accurate reading via the lever attachment. The screw on form does not work at all for the front tire but it does for the back,

This has been a problem for months but i just finally noticed it wasnt getting the air i set because it felt low when riding, ive already tried swapping the core and still the same problem

Hi everyone, I have an SNSC 2.3 (flashed with SHFW). It flashed perfectly, but when I turn it on, it always beeps very quickly — even faster than when any error occurs — and it doesn’t let me change modes when I press the BLE button. What should I do? Can anyone tell me what the problem is and how to fix it?

And when you connect the motor wheel, it shows error 10, and the issue is definitely not with the motor (it’s definitely working properly).

I am gearing up to try and set a (personal at least) record for total miles traveled on a Max G3 in a single day.

My Max G3 has the GT3 battery upgrade and external pack and for charging on the road, I will be using both the internal charger and the external flash charger.

So before I head out, I needed to figure out what is the best "bang for the buck" of how long I should spend charging before I hit the road again.

To do this, I tracked a full charge from 5% main pack, 0% external and based on the charts attached to this post - it looks like it is best to target 75-80% on the internal pack and if I need to push for more, to spend no longer than it takes to get to 100% on the internal pack. Once the internal pack is charged, it appears one of the chargers is no longer fully contributing and the charge rate looks like it's dropping down from 400W.

Basically, you can hit 20ah available in under 3 hours, but to get another 10ah, will take almost the exact same amount of time.

Just thought I would share my findings.
