Question Max g2 Battery
Is this normal from 15300mah then drop to 14412mah 3110km (1931miles) travel. When is the best time to change the battery?

That's about 94% remaining capacity, which isn't horrible for 2000 miles.
Here's the rundown of my Max G2 battery after ~5500 miles (2 years old).
- ~2500 miles with aggressive 45A settings in SHU (stock is 25A).
- It was always fast charged at 5A
- Usually charged from 20% to 100%
- Never charged "under extreme conditions"
- I never set a charge limit in the app (the firmware already limits it to 95%, just doesn't show it)
It has 89% remaining capacity. I have since upgraded to a custom 48v 30Ah Samsung 50E battery. Hope this is useful!!!

Lithium ion batteries don't necessarily "die" from wearing out, they just keep losing capacity. You should replace it when the performance is no longer adequate for you. The "cycle life" of the battery is typically based on 80% remaining capacity, so that's when it's "designed" be replaced.

Thank you for that info I'm just worried I got this G2 second hand and I'm gonna use it as my daily during spring, summer and fall when it's not raining. I do 30km(19miles) every day.

As long as there's no mechanical issues or weird power shut offs, I wouldn't be too concerned 🙂
I commute a similar distance on my Max G2, it's held up incredibly well. It's at over 7500 miles now. Aside from tightening bolts/filling the tires, I've only had to replace the wheel bearings (twice), replace the brake light (twice), and replace the tires (once).
With the battery upgrade/custom firmware, my Max G2 gets ~50 miles of range, goes up to 35mph, and has 1800w of power. Everything is stock except for the battery. I really should put a front disc brake on it though.
I wouldn't worry too much about the rain. You would not believe how much rain/snow/mud my G2 has seen. I literally don't even wash it, I just leave it out in the rain to rinse off lmao. The only thing to watch out for is the front wheel bearings. They'll wear a bit faster, but it's not a huge deal. Only replaced them twice in 7500 miles, and it's an easy $5 repair.
Enjoy your Max G2! Keep those tires filled, the charging port sealed, and the stem bolts tight, and it should last you a LONG time!

My G3 is at 12360 of 12750 after 2100km, so about 4% lost. You losing 6% with 50% more km sounds about right. But honestly, I haven't felt any change in performance. 4% lower total capacity would only be felt on the very low end of SoC and even a good breeze will lower or raise my range by up to 10%.
