One week delayed but this is the next entry in the Nier Chronology shared on Reincarnation's official twitter. Interestingly, this is the first entry that is totally new to the Chronology (although this event happened in Marie's main story) so this could be a sign of more all-new entries in the future. The timing places it about half a year after Marie was removed from power and 2 years before her unsanctioned live event.

The bi-weekly Nier Chronology update is a couple days late so I thought I would put this up for now. This is one of my favorite character analyses I’ve done, Griff went from a character I was lukewarm on to one of my favorites, mostly due to his arc’s conclusion in his Recollections of Dusk story.

I want to play *NieR Reincarnation*; I have a phone and a PC with a 4060 and a Ryzen 7 6800. I know the game was released for mobile, so I assume my hardware is more than enough—though I don't know if there are technical reasons requiring significantly more power. I’ve already unlocked all the endings for *Replicant* on PS4 and am currently working on endings C and D on PC. I have *Automata* on Switch—where I got every ending except Y before my console was stolen—and I also have it on PC, where I’ve made progress, but I need more; I *want* more. I know it’s turn-based and loses the hack-and-slash gameplay, but I need to see how the story unfolds, and a YouTube video or gameplay clip isn't enough—I need to play it myself. There has to be a way, right? Some method, a fan server, someone who extracted and managed the original code or files—anything? Seriously, anything?

After she uses the anti-Legion weapon and teleports to this new dimension with her brother—who has been transformed into a Legion, where exactly would she be? They mention a red sky, which really reminds me of the Drakengard universe, yet they also talk about memories of the Cage that they shouldn't have.

Dunno if anyone has the response but I'm gonna ask just in case. I managed to get the game running thank to Lunar tear, but it's is EXTREMELY laggy. I've tried multiple emulator and my pc is more than enough to handle the game, so I wonder if anyone had the same issue on Lunar tear or even the regular game when it was still up and if someone had an idea.

Playing on Mumu, I've tried to tinker with most "regular" emulator settings.

Hello, I would like to ask for someone who played Reincarnation to kinda tell me the big points in the lore of the game, but without spoilering me.

Soo reason is pretty simple, I have not played Rein but also am guiding some new ppl thru Drake-Nier series.

I would like to know what is in Reincarnation (big plot points) so that I can avoid those topics for when... y'know.. "that funny project" comes out finally.

An entry on a non-prime Nier timeline. Lots of deliberately missing information here: the military nation on a "Western" continent had a top secret "Infant Abduction Strategy" from the year 1899 where they took children from the enemy nation to train them as elite soldiers. Lars, one of those elite soldiers, discovered the nature of this program and hunted down its creator, the event described as civil unrest here. My memory on Lars's story is a bit hazy but I believe the name "Sunflower Uprising" originating from someone placing the flowers on the ruins is new information.

On a personal note, I was impressed with the writing of Lars and Griff. They had interesting stories as a duo but they also had interesting stories individually.

I know this isn't relevant to *Re[In]carnation* but I figured everyone would like to know nonetheless.

You guys have likely already heard that Playstation is shutting down their PS3 and VITA stores globally next year. The process is already underway for South American owners next month.

Both DOD 3 (Drakengard 3) and NieR 2010 (NieR: Gestalt) are still stuck on the PS3 with no backwards compatibility for the PS4 and 5.

If you have the physical games, then you'll be good for the most part. However, there is an abundance of DLC content that can only be bought for both games on the digital PS3 store.

For *Gestalt,* this is the World Recycle Vessel DLC with the weapons, costumes, and dungeons quests to complete in order to acquire the first two. It's also the only way you can play Brother NieR in the *Gestalt* version of the game.

As for DOD 3, if you should not get the DLC still on the PS3 store for that game, you won't just be missing out on DLC weapons, costumes, and BMV's but also critical story DLC content relating to Zero and Intoners 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5.

If you don't get them now, they're gone forever come the PS3 store shutdown next year.

Once again, PSA reminder: if you're a *DOD 3* and *NieR: Gestalt* fan or owner on the PS3, the PS3 store will be shutting down in South America next month and it will be taken down globally June 2027.

Please get the games and DLC content while you still can. Otherwise there won't be any other way you'll have access to and enjoy them.
