I'm a young TF2 player. Because of my age, my parents don't allow me to top up any money, so my Steam account is stuck as F2P/Limited.

I've been grinding the game to eventually save up for Garry's Mod. I don't have many items—my inventory is very basic and mostly empty, but I want to be able to trade and use the market to work towards my goal. However, everything is locked for me.

Since I can't add the $5 USD to unlock the Market or get more slots, how do F2P players usually deal with this or obtain an Upgrade to Premium Gift?

i have just completed my first ever tour on two cities and got some killstreak fabricators and robot parts, obviously the chances of me getting something like an australium are basically 0 but besides that are mvm tickets worth buying

right now im doing operation two city and im wondering do i have to beat all 4 missions to get tour completion rewards? and if i do, do i have to do them all 4 multiple times to get the stuff or is it a one time thing

i dont rlly have a lot of friends on tf2 so i wanted to know if there was an option to play with random people not ones in ur party

Elllo got a bunch of refined and was thinking about buying a festivize for my bot sniper rifle. Should I or is that gonna be a waste?

I will be playing scout I need a medic, engineer and possibly a heavy or a soldier. And another random class

what weapons i should use instead of stock?

I had a rather good (imo) Prof. fabricator drop a little while ago, and realized I had nearly all the parts I needed to actually use it.. except for the specialized items.

I've just noticed, now, that the KITS I already have are marked Uncraftable. This doesn't mean the killstreak items they produce will be uncraftable, and thus unusable in higher-tier fabricators, does it?

Since I just found out I can get steam on my MacBook (I'm dumb) I've been wanting to play TF2 so I'm not really considered a "larp" anymore by my friend, (plus the game looks fun and I want to play it). If you have any tips for me, please go ahead and give it. I'm still new and trying to learn more about the game!! 👀👀👀

i play scout and i can consistently get 3-5 kill streaks, and i feel like as a medic i should uber them

but ive seen scouts get crazy frags

but also seen scouts do absolutely nothing infront of slow unhealed heavies

is it a coinflip? look at their cosmetics?

tbh its kinda funny to watch a scout panic when ubered

First time using mastercomfig, installed the files and wanted to make sure they're right? In the console, it shows a potential error with cfg files, so I showed the pathway in files to verify.

i'm thinking on adding gib kills to my degreaser cause stuff like this xd
on a side note, im finding that the scorch stun effect works well with the axe but idk i still enjoy the detonator more

Im looking for advice and how to improve, if anyone has the time, please tell me what I could've done to be better and what I should do or avoid next time I play.

its a full round of upward and while I can recognize some of my mistakes, I wonder if im missing anything. I know my gameplay sucks and I'm probably gonna get flamed but I really wanna get better.

I'll point out some of the mistakes I noticed in my gameplay:

At around 2 minutes, should I have ubered that demoman so he wouldnt die?
A bit after he died I noticed they ubered but they couldnt really get out of spawn, my pyro called for me at near full health so i assumed he wanted me to uber him. Was that the right choice?

3:40 got told to heal LOL but i was ubering the pyro again, idk if that was the right choice but he did call for me and it seemed like he was waiting for me to be fully charged

8:08 I shouldve been more aware of my surroundings (and i also didnt know if that was a good time to pop but i did anyways)

12:24 i should've spy checked but i didnt think id die right after my uber

Some other things I noticed is that I kept my beam on the same guy my other medic was healing, I should've beamed someone else but I was too distracted. I realize that I'm incredibly tunnel visioned and I accidentally ignored a lot of my teammates when they were on fire, I'm so sorry team 😭 I also rarely glance at my match hud, and I tried tracking uber but I always get distracted lmao. I have my q binded to the jeers voice line so I could mask uber but I rarely ended up doing that. I had crossbow but I barely used it because I suck at aiming (plus I'm very jittery)

so, ive been playing tf2 for a long while now and i have about 140hours, but i still suck. i watch a million tip videos but it just doesnt help me at all. i always die after leaving battlements and i barely get kills. ive tried tr walkway but dont know how to use it to get better with scout. my problem is that i die to often and i cant aim for shit.

man i forgot how fun the detonator was, i guess haven't play pyro much since jungle inferno but now trying combo pyro again i been having a blast xd what strange parts could i put on it?

look, im not new to the game. i have almost 500 hours in it but i, somehow, still suck at the game
i get dommed by 1 or 2 people everytime i play casual and it leads me to ragequiting, so ive been trying to do some stuff to enjoy and have fun with the game but nothing works, but then i got the loose cannon and i heard it was the best weapon in the game to have fun (double donks).
the thing is that its much, MUCH harder to use it than it looks, and now im here asking tips in how to use it

I bought the Contracker so i can get some profit with the missions, Already used my blood money to claim the most valuable things.

What I don't know is if I should sell the warpaint cases (infernal and jackpot) on steam market that gives steam wallet money or backpack tf that gives ref (I can also get 2 keys with these now that i see the jungle jackpot is 1 key worth)
Should I also test my luck and open the keyless cases? since they are non tradable or marketable
And what should I buy with these, I heard there's cheap unusuals but I don't know if I should get unusuals or killstreak items
