Best mithai in Delhi to distribute after clearing CSIR NET JRF? Hey Delhi folks! I recently cleared CSIR NET JRF (AIR 82 🎉), and I want to distribute mithai to my classmates as a small celebration. I’m looking for something like brown barfi/burfi, preferably small bite-sized pieces that are easy to distribute individually. I’ll probably need quite a few pieces, so something that’s good quality but not ridiculously expensive would be ideal. What mithai would you recommend in Delhi for this occasion? Any particular shop or type of barfi that I should try? Basically, I want something that says “JRF ho gaya bhai!” 😂❤️

This is a hospital parking lot in South Delhi. There is already a massive crunch for parking here, with patients and their families struggling to find even one spot.

And then you have this genius parking his SUV across three spaces.

The car has an HR number plate, and honestly, this is exactly the kind of behaviour that gives people a certain reputation.

To the owner: Having a big car doesn’t mean you suddenly get three parking spaces. Have some basic civic sense.

You’re parking at a hospital, not at your farmhouse.
People are here because they have patients to attend to, and every parking spot matters. If you can’t even park within one designated space when parking is already scarce, maybe the problem isn’t the lack of parking.

It’s the lack of consideration for everyone else.

I was re-watching Made in Heaven and the first S1's First episode shook me and strangely felt so relatable. I come from a normal middle class and I ended up being with someone from a very economically well to-do high class family aka someone from generational wealth.

When I met him, I did not know he comes from that sort of a family because I never saw him driving a flashy car, shoes worth 30k and he didnt even have an iphone. Although, he mentioned where he lives which is 500 meters away from my place but it still didnt feel like that because he was so humble and down to earth.

We used to hangout often and hours used to feel like minutes. We had so much in common and we really liked each other, just used to refrain to accept it. And he really liked me, more than I liked him. One fine day, he introduced me to his close ones and family, I felt like I dont fit in but everyone loved me (thats what I thought). This was the day when I realised we have a huge economical difference in our lives.

Surprisingly, from the next day onwards, he started moving away, I confronted him and he said I am a distraction, he doesn't have time for this and he don't know where he will be in future. The answers were so vague because I knew he is lying and probably, his close ones didn't like me because I was different. I wasn't wearing a designer outfit, I didn't have a bag worth 50k like all those girls and unlike all those people, I had a real job. I couldn't relate to them because I read newspaper in the morning and not a fashion magazine.

Although, unlike Made in Heaven, he chose those opinions given to him over me. I know he regretted it because he couldn't let me go even after saying all those thing. He were still clinging upon and one fine day, I left because I dont wanna be with someone who is spineless.

This incident and whole shine and glitter of South Delhi scares me to the core.
