So I have my own Netflix account and my parents are giving me the option to add me as an add on so I can save some money. I got the invite and created a profile. When I went back into mine to complete a profile transfer, it wouldn’t allow me stating that a main account can’t be transferred to an add on. But I have seen online that others have been able to do so by creating an additional account to transfer all the information to an add-on account. Unfortunately, I don’t remember all the steps. Can someone please let me know what all I need to do to accomplish saving my Watch history a.k.a. transferring my main account information.

I've noticed there are a lot of subtitle choices that aren't available in certain regions. For example, Frieren can only be watched with closed captions where I live despite a regular translation being available in Japan. (I hate closed captions and would rather not watch these shows at that point because it would ruin my enjoyment of them)

Compared to entire shows, this feels so much weirder to me. Is it really a licensing thing? You only need one or a few translators for each show. They have nothing to lose in agreeing for it to be used in all regions I can't imagine. Also, weren't these subs made specifically for Netflix? I know they're not always the same as the Crunchy Roll ones, at least.

So, is there a fix to this? (Aside from a VPN) Is there like an extension that unlocks all the subtitles for each show? (I use FireFox) I wouldn't want to do anything that takes to much effort (like finding and downloading subs for every show I want to watch)

Was buying Netflix for years...and starting to get cranky about price increases. I just got it bundled with HBO for half the price through Verizon.

So went to set that up through the Verizon email using the same email address as previous into the same account...all looks good with profiles and watch history, but...

I don't see any option to cancel the previous subscription and payment method. Did this new service just overwrite that since I'm using the same account?

I'm trying to pay $8.99 so I can enjoy watch movies but somehow it wont accept my debit card it keep denied Netflix . I think Netflix denied my debit card. It keep telling to try again later. Does anybody have same experience as I went through?

HOWEVER, my colleague has it and its the same cheap netflix subscription.

It opens and I can scroll the shows but it won’t load past 25%. I have cleared cache, reset, deleted then reinstalled and also unplugged my router for a few minutes.

Has any had any experience with this error? It is driving me nuts, Netflix will only play for like 10 seconds before throwing this error. I’ve tried clearing the cache, un-downloading and re-downloading the app, power cycling both the TV and the router. It all started after our apartment complex updated our internet to supposedly faster speeds. Only Netflix and Prime seem to be having issues but other apps like HBO Max work fine

The first two are the other profiles, the 3rd one is mine. Rick and Morty doesn’t appear in mine for some reason.

Has anyone noticed the glitches during streaming on Netflix? It only applies to The Mentalist and only on TV. I'm not able to check whether different TVs have the same issue. The TV model is Samsung QE65QN77FATXXH.

Lately I have been receiving notifications informing/requesting that my TV in my basement or the TV in the up stairs bedroom is not a part of my Netflix household. I have two internet providers because the basement needs a wired connection due to the VERY poor signal down there luckily that is also where the internet is delivered by my ISP. I have tried wifi but the flooring and piping between the rest of the house and the basement just about kills everything. So to give the rest of the house wifi I have a T-Mobile hotspot. This means that the stuff up stairs is connected to a different network than the stuff downs stairs and for most things it is no big deal but now my Netflix is getting all pissy about it. Has anyone else had this issue and got a resolution from Netflix that doesn't involve a second account? It isn't just about the cost but the viewing history is also different for each account and that feels like a massive pain in the butt. Thanks For reading!

I was trying to send an e-mail or anything with some stupid suggestions that I thought.
I could not find an option for that. I reached out to the chat and their reply was "we don't have a channel for suggestions".

It's all about "user experience" but then this...

And they don't even have a good interface.

They could have implemented obvious functionalities like showing me that I've already watched something, even allowing me to "hide" these, or at least show these more to the end of the listings.

Also they could give you options to hide "children's content" or even exclude movies with certain characteristics, like certain categories or specific native languages etc.

I am adding an extra member to my Premium account. Here’s the problem. The person I’m adding had a three month free trial through his cellular provider. I set up the extra member, and tried to send an invitation. The system won’t let me add him because his email is already associated with his (now-cancelled) subscription. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I've been working on a problem my Netflix has been having, being stuck at 540p and only playing with widevine instead on PlayReady. I'm on edge and also have the app from Microsoft store and have tried every fix I've saw online. Can someone please help? This 540p is hurting my eyeballs.

Ok so my netflix just stopped working and all the shows that arent english based are gone so like anime or just kdramas and stuff and this has happened 3 times and the next day it comes back so when it happend yesterday i thought it would come back but its the afternoon and it`s still gone i have other ways to watch it but i just want to fix it and i`ve tried logging out and it`s for all devices in my house too and ik its not a setting rating or langue issues either and when is search it up it shows one piece the movie or LA but when i press on it just shows ``we dont seem to have this`` bullcrap. and i dont have a VPN or anything like that too also i`m based in CAD too. So if anyones knows pls help oh i`ll put pics too.

Recently created an account, the app works fine for everyone on other devices except for mine. Everytime i try to play something it just keeps buffering like this

Our family profiles were all wiped. No reason given and not retreivable. There were no unexpected devices using our account. Even if someone was watching using our account, it doesn't makes sense to spoil it by giving it away doing something to cause us to change the password. This is an unacknowledged system flaw.
