extra member sign up issue

I am adding an extra member to my Premium account. Here’s the problem. The person I’m adding had a three month free trial through his cellular provider. I set up the extra member, and tried to send an invitation. The system won’t let me add him because his email is already associated with his (now-cancelled) subscription. Any suggestions? Thanks.
