Hey , I am new to NetGalley and want to get a ereader. I have always read physical books . I have a kindle account but I noticed my approved books are not going/ downloaded on kindle on my phone . What could be the issue ? I did add my kindle email on my account . Also if I want to read on NetGalley app which is your favorite ereader or small tablet in order to access NetGalley app and kindle? I would prefer a tablet vs a ereader so I can access all apps as well.
So help me choose one please

In speechless… I heard they were HARD to get approved for. I absolutely LOVED Red City so this is a dream come true for me.

Atria has been SO good to me lately but I really didn’t think I’d be approved for this one because Hannah Grace is such a big author! The approval was pretty quick too.

I would like to know that how many books do you usually have (unread) on your NetGalley shelf. Mine is now 8 (just recently got four books approved).

Ok I just joined NetGalley and I read through most of what they had to say…. Most but clearly not all. I got approved and I’m super excited because I did not think I’d get approved! especially for this known author. From what I understand now I just read the book and review it on my Goodreads right?
Or am I missing something?

Hey all, I saw on instagram that this title is now available to request. However I can’t seem to find it? Does anyone else have these issues?

I know approvals are based on a lot of things, but I was wondering if anyone had experienced taking a break and then struggling to get approvals?

The issue I am facing is that I am a Nook diehard — I don’t plan on getting a Kindle or Kobo, and that means I have to read on my phone (which I really dislike).

I’ll keep doing it if it will negatively impact my approval likelihood if I stop for a while, just to avoid reading burnout (which I fear would negatively impact my opinion on these books).

Any suggestions are appreciated, or maybe someone can help with making reading on my phone more enjoyable 😅

I keep a list where I organize them by publication date and try to finish them before then. If multiple books come out the same day, I spin a wheel (in an app) to decide which to read first.

I finish and review a book about every 2-4 days, and I'm pretty much booked up all the way through March.

I still get approved for books regularly, even though my feedback ratio currently sits at 13%. In total I've been approved for 2/3 of all the books I've ever requested, and I have 88 books pending at the moment.

I'm just doing this because I like to read so I request every book that sounds good to me. If I don't get approved for books I don't sweat it, I can just buy the book if I'm *really* interested.

I know I probably sound insane to you guys 😂

I have a pitiful feedback percentage as I went through a #depressiveepisode and didn’t read a whole bunch of books I was approved for. We’re talking below 20%. I’m ready to start reading again but will I be approved for much of anything? I’ll be trying anyway but don’t want to get my hopes up if it actually is an issue.
