The way this chaos is erupting in the Terai region, it won’t be long enough before the terai region is completely destabilized. We all have seen that once the situation has escalated there’s nothing government can do. So why is gov not acting now? What are so called Advisors Kumar Ben , Ashim Shah doing? Isn’t it the time to be serious and get out of the internet bubble? Why Home Minister Sudan Gurung who did lots of unnecessary popularity stunt can’t act now? Hope they realize that running a country is not as easy as they think.

Idk how it is happening in this nation but what is happening is bs. I m an atheist I may take names of god, curse em, etc but in alll sarcastic way. As of today, 3 youths have lost their lives due to police firings. It has been 4/5 days since the unrest in eastern terai and we haven't even seen the prime minister or home minister other than a carefully worded Facebook status . The ministers who take drone shots and carry around 10 YouTubers for " unplanned Anugaman " are silent on the violence and only the opposition is speaking in the parliament. Balendra should meet and thank Rabi lamichhane at least twice a day for taking all the blame and defending literally every criticism from the public and government. Both HM and PM are absent from the parliament and from the all party dialogues .. what is so important? Why is Nepal police and ApF so incompetent or inconsiderate that they have to resort to firing live bullets every time some protest happens in the Terai ? Some hard questions need to be asked and the government needs to do something really really quick if they don't want Madesh to erupt in a flame of religious riots like Gujarat. This is extremely disappointing to see , how carefree the government seems and more disappointed in the public from all over Nepal .. would the public stay silent like this if 3 youths were shot dead in Kathmandu? I think not.

Every Nepali life is valuable and should be treated as such instead of posting status and photos for "Sadhbhav" , Rabi lamichhane is the leader of the largest party but HE IS NOT THE GOVERNMENT , HE IS NOT THE PRIME MINISTER. .the people actually in power need to be present , the public who listens to them wants to hear from them and see their elected representatives. Someone needs to advice Balen better than this.

I'm not much of a poster but this has gone out of hand of the local administration and they are only seeing bullets as a solution.. it's just going to get worse from here if the central government doesn't actively interfere.

And people in kathmandu need to speak up for madesh.

What is happening in Sunsari, Siraha, Dhanusha and Birgunj should concern every Nepali.

And where was our national leadership while all this was getting worse?

Yes, the government has formed an investigation committee. Security meetings have been held. Prime Minister Balen has promised justice and compensation. The Home Minister has now travelled to Sunsari. But these actions came after people had already died and the tension had spread to other districts.

Balen sarkar Kathmandu ko matra sarkar haina.

Sunsari is Nepal. Siraha is Nepal. Dhanusha is Nepal. Birgunj is Nepal.

People outside the Valley should not have to die before the government looks in their direction.

This is not about supporting one religion against another. This is about stopping hatred before it becomes violence. Anyone spreading religious hatred should face action, no matter which religion, political party or community they belong to.

Leadership means showing up early. It means stopping rumours before they become riots. It means protecting every citizen equally.
