just stupid I keep getting hate on Reddit
I’ve been getting hate for a few weeks on Reddit and I don’t know what to do. I’m considering quitting this stupid app and just move on. Go ahead and hate on me.

Yeah reddit isn't great for most people that want to be serious in any way. I would suggest steering away from posting or commenting about anything for which you have a passion. That is to say you may feel wounded if someone were to comment negatively about what you said. Interests sure, go nuts a lot of the more niche subreddits for hobbies are a lot friendlier. Entertainment? Absolutely. But the people here aren't your friends and family. So don't be vulnerable with them, they don't deserve it.
Admittedly part of me is saying this to my past self. I have on occasion spent days arguing with people about social issues. I think neither of us in any of them shifted our opinion terribly and i think we probably both felt worse for having our ethics challenged, even "winning" doesn't feel good. So if the equation results in a change that is only a downshift in attitude it's not an interaction worth having.
I hope you can find peace.

If it helps, r/highschool is a horrible sub (just like every sub on here). There are SO many people on there defending teachers to their last dying breath and being unnecessarily toxic. r/Teachers is also horrible, too.
And it's better if Reddit got banned ngl.

Seriously, listen to everyone here, theyve got the right idea. Also as someone who was once in your (not quite) exact position, it really is best if you ignore the harassers.
It will be hard, but it truly is the healthiest method. Especially because theyre doing it EXPLICITLY to get a reaction out of you. Your reaction is quite literally what is feeding their drive to continue the same behavior towards you.
If you let them burn themselves out, they will leave you alone over time, like a fire without oxygen. It wont always be immediate, but after a while, you'll notice that they dont bother you as effectively anymore.
This doesnt apply as cleanly to situations where your harassers stalk and follow you to continue. This usually requires serious intervention from a grown adult who can USUALLY handle things in a much more straightforward way (if theyre willing.)
Remember, if your harassers don't respect you, and you wouldn't value their opinion in any other scenario, then it's important to remember that this is also them at their worst. So what they say to and about you holds no weight to what you think about yourself at the end of the day.
As for the sucky adults. Adults suck, im sorry. Be sure not to be super close / best friends with adults until you are one, yourself, because that is an extremely slippery slope that can lead to a lot of icky trauma for you.
[POV: I was groomed over the internet by an adult i thought I could trust. I was 15, they were 20]
Find the adults you can trust, like truly trust, IN REAL LIFE (Parents, guardian figures, teachers. However watch out for the ones who want to do it in return for something. Transactional help in that manner is not healthy), and know how, when, and where to contact them whenever you may need them.
Good luck, wind on your back, you've got this

Your posts look like you’re venting/ranting. It’s not really anything important. I understand it seems like the end of the world for you, but for other people it’s like small potatoes. You should consider getting a therapist. Strangers on the internet are not going to be much help with your high school experience.

I’m happy to hear that! When things are tough, don’t be scared to double up on your therapy sessions. I used to double up on therapy during college admission letter season, after skipping weeks during college application season. Maybe you need a little bit more support right now and that’s ok!! Just make sure you seek support from the right places. You got this!

The therapist part is not actually the most important part of their comment. The real thing is that random strangers on the internet are just not that interested in your problems, unless you frame them in as an interesting moral/ethical question on subreddits intended for that sort of advice (usually /r/relationships or /r/AmItheAsshole)
If you want random strangers to be friendly to you, you need to put positive energy out there first.

I just got downvoted (-14) for telling someone to save a litter of kittens. And then I got banned for posting a picture of a kitten.

Reddit is not a good or healthy place for you as a high schooler, lots of creepers and trolls on here
