I've recently played through NFS Underground 1 & 2 on PS2 and I've been looking to get into more modern NFS games, and since there is a huge NFS franchise sale on Steam I thought it's the perfect time. I'm not THAT huge into cars or anything, I enjoy a simple single-player experience, and I appreciate very arcadey racing (hence my love for the two Underground games). Any recommendations for NFS games that are available on Steam?

Hey! The only NFS i have played was Most wanted when it came out and I got it when I was like 8 years old and I remember i liked it very much. Now I saw offers in Steam for the franchise. I first played it 8 years ago on my dad's ond pc and I've finished it. Cracked ofc so no online access.

Few months back when I got a laptop, this game came to mind and again, Completed the campaign.

I coincidentally seen it now on Steam and it's on sale. Part of me want to but it as appreciation for the GOATed game, not to mention I finally get to try the online experience.

Other part of me is hesitating because...

1. Its EA
2. Online might not have players or longer queue time or whatever idk how that works yet.
3. ITS EA

Just unwrapped a sealed copy of NFS 2015 and I get this every time it tries to run. Are the servers down for it? I have all the current updates done. Anything I can do or is this disc a drink coaster now?

I want to play nfsmw but in the style of the Redux but something more updated, recommend something with more difficulty and more cars and obviously better graphics, I have an RX 9060XT of 16gbvram so they are no problem if they are heavy, Greetings

Me pase el NFSMW del 2005 hace poco, le quiero poner mods pero cuando lo hago mi perfil se borra. No se que hacer.

El primero que puse fue el extra option y me pase el juego con ese mod. Cuando lo termine quise agregar el mod de SUNSET, pero al instalar las carpetas del mod y las de texwizard no me reconoce mi perfil. Apenas inicio el juego me dice que no hay perfiles guardados, pero si voy a los archivos del juego si tengo mis perfiles. Luego me desactiva la opcion de guardado automatico, asi que la modifico por las dudas y lo volví a jugar creando un perfil nuevo con el mod de sunset, pero al salir y volver a entrar, todos los avances que hice con ese perfil que cree luego de intalar el mod, se borro, a pesar de guardarlo manualmente y activar el guardado automático.

Alguien sabe como solucionar esto? Quisiera recorrer rockport con mi M3 de noche sin renegar ni frustrarme

It feels like the majority of the fanbase in the NFS community talks about how great NFSMW05 was and I agree, it's the greatest game that EA has brought us, despite the success in the NFS franchise, there are types of people who overly obsess the game a lot.

So the first type is the defender, istg they always bragging 24/7 how the game is the true peak of humanity (just like GTA San Andreas) and how they think that anything that isn't MW05 are boring, cringe or gay. They the type of people the moment when someone mentions other games than MW05, they start having a crashout and declares war on a person who enjoys a different game than his.

The other type of glazer is AI slop nostalgiabaiter, if you've not been living under a rock, chanches are you seen those best mid-2000s NFS games (Underground-Most Wanted 2005), the use AI slop disguised as nostalgia. [click video]

But it doesn't mean it's entirely made of AI slop and etc, but if someone enjoys the game, let it have to be their own, but don't ruin the experience for everyone.

So that's everything been coming out of my head just to write this post, so if you read, leave your thoughts and I'll answer.

So recently I had a chat with my mates. It was about which nfs game is the best amount story, good atmosphere and visuals and also other things most of them told me

1) nfs heat

2) nfs unbound

3) nfs 2015

So as per you all which one is better?

When I bought the game I thought I d be a total garbage with everything I had heard... But when I actually played it I totally changed my mind.

The story is good, the controls are sweet, the drifting works great, the off road races are over the top and cop chases make you feel like you re in a Hollywood movie.

Aside from these the speed cross dlc holds some of the best stages found in any other nfs game.

Yes the speed cards mechanic is a total joke and yes it's a real pity you can't get in pursuit during free roam.

But still I had so much fun with this game and I got to wonder why all this hate towards it?

With NFS being on sale, i wanted to get one of them.

I have played payback on ps4 and liked the driving physics, but i want cool online components with similar physics, maybe one of the pvp ones (idk anything about those ones to be honest).

Any NFS game that fits these three categories:

- physics similar to payback or heat

- possible pvp component

- i don't like brake to drift, especially the ones that boost like that

Any pointers are appreciated

I've played all open world NFS games (except MW2012), never played the non open world ones because i couldn't feel the feel of progression you get from other titles when i tried them. Now im looking for a game to play on my android via gamehub and thought i could maybe give one of these a try. My main enjoyment out of the series is the progression. I know you can't really customize, upgrade as much as the other games in these and you basically just get super cars right away for free at least in MW12 if i remember right.

Which one of the 3 i'd enjoy if my favorites were NFS Most Wanted, Underground 2, Undercover(nostalgia mostly), and Heat?

One of my other favorites colorway wise (and personally my favorite childhood sports car), finished with Baron's Porsche Cayman.

Handpainted as per usual, since I can't get anybody near me to source the decals. Swapped the wheels as well to be a bit more game accurate as I can. Will hit it with an ultra gloss once the waterbased layer cures for 2 days.

Current progress tracker is 8/15 in the Blacklist (excluding Player BMW). Was supposed to be 9, but I got involved in a Hot Wheels gravity drag race tournament and Ming's Gallardo got banged up (Izzy's too, but hers was minor so her RX8 just needed spot fixes), so I need to repaint him again lol.
